Most analyst rates this above 5.00. I think more like 4.50 region is fair value. Can hold still. Recent pull back is due to Greece. Just what has Greece got to do with us here in Asia ? More important is that China has become sugar daddy for the major Euro countries like Italy, Germany, France. Greece can go under and no one will really feel it so best for Euro to NOT give them loans anymore.
Be prepared for major surprise. If Greece really defaults, rally may happen instead....

Eventually the sellers will have to sell also..... don't sell mean slowly died....
i think low vol means buyer means seller cannot match.
there are still offer and bid vol so it is a case of seller not willing to sell as they think too low/too late to sell.
amount of meat for short is not much already and risk to short increasing.
buyer think no potential to go up yet / waiting for seller to give.so all waiting for next move

Stocks normally drop like sheet (but in stages)
with low volume... but that doesn't mean there's
no downtrend, which is what matters.
There's low volume simply because no
funds find it a good buy
at high prices...

then dropped to 1/2-price within 4 months, demands
much virtue of holding on.

This counter, when the rally comes, can shoot up very high. Has been in the doldrums for a while already. May turn soon. Unfortunately, when it does run, like in most cases with high beta stocks, it will be too late to get in. Best to adopt dividend strategy is serious about investing in this as dividends paid out still very decent. It was 8.13% last year and this year's interim is already 1.3% announced/paid |

DMG & Partners has cut its target price for Singapore oil rig builders Keppel Corp (KPLM.SI) and Sembcorp Marine (SCMN.SI) but kept its buy rating for both companies. DMG’s new target for Keppel Corp is $11.03, down from $13.35, while it now says SembMarine is worth $5.46, versus $6.25 previously.
DMG has lowered its 2012 earnings per share estimates for Keppel and SembMarine by 3-5% to account for lower order wins as it expects rig owners to slow down their spending on new rigs.
“While share prices could see near term weakness on rising concerns over new orders and potential cancellations, we think the offshore and marine sector is more resilient today given stronger customer profile for existing orders, continued pickup in rig day rates,” said DMG in a report.
The brokerage said it prefers Keppel over SembMarine in times of uncertainty given the former’s stronger earnings visibility in 2012.
At 9:58 a.m., shares of Keppel were 0.12% lower at $8.63, having fallen 16% since the start of the year.
SembMarine shares fell 0.52% to $3.83 and are down about 29% since the start of the year. |
