thanks, and as i posted b4, i have 10 lots avg 0.925 left now, will only sell them when px hit 1.3. If the px drops below 0.80 and will buy more to accumulate.

I have faith in genting sp, and im a long term investor. ahahhah

Dont forget.

universal studio opens on 18 march. so maybe their profit not fully accounted into the q1. so wait for q2 ba..

 

lol.. i think tmr sure got a lot of gan jiong spider sure offload genting shares. i feel for this kind of share like genting, shouldn't look for short term profit. anyway i will still keep on holding.

1 more mth to end of Q2. dont know why i just have faith in genting. buying the genting share is like buying share of sentosa that kinda feel.

but their sing operation make money or not?? their UK not is everyone knows....pretty shitty sincegenting singapore shouldjust focus on singapore resort world should not include UK.

 

alway expect the unexpected......tomorow......alot will short it down...then BB also short then who knows push up again...hehehe...best not to touch lor......

 

this lost will make temporary panic to shareholders...but think it properly....this report do not mean everything...

and good net profit not really can make the share price up as well....vice versa

like Noble grp Q1 net profit 161.17 million, capitaland Q1 net profit 115.4 million, CMA Q1 net profit 96.78million .....end up what happened? they all drop more than 10% ...thus.....be confident ....

 

There's book entry "Impairment loss on intangibility asset = $478 mil for Q1 2010. Wile nil for Q1 2009.

If without it, the net result will be good. Implying business is still profitable ??    

 

Wah pian, Ah Thay talked big during d last AGM, now turns out d other way, big wok loh.

Look at is this way, it might not be all bad news tomorrow. Short this counter tomorrow to hedge against your losses if you have bought in earlier at a higher price. If you have got no position now then all the better to short it tomorrow and riding on the bearish sentiment. But word of advise.... stock market is never so straight forward.......   

 

wah...morning thot ok ok...go out and see stocks fm my hp final price at 0.975!!! hmmm....BB might buy in tomorrow...based on 460mil quarterly..if not wrong ...relatively, half year 1 bil...1 yr 2 bil...so how many years to break even? 3? 5?

Lucky my concentration on Genting is very minimum. The recent UP in actual nearly make me add on.

Lucky i resist......heng.

Anyway Genting is a stock that may grew strong in revenue in the future to come (thus i rate it as a long term stock instead). But that i believe maybe next year..........

This year is more for them to recover the losses..........

Let see how market react with this news..............................

Genting Singapore, operator of the city-state’s first casino, posted a first-quarter loss of $396.3 million, widening from a loss of $31.9 million a year earelier. Revenue was $460.4 million.
