I c, let's continue to monitor the situation. If it really gets to that level. It will present a wonderful buying oppor to those who missed it earlier.
If you look at the chart, you can see that it has bounced off the upper bollinger band. It appears to still have some energy downwards. Note that today's volume is lower than usual so this upside may not last long.
Possible support around the $2.0 level.
Caveat emptor.

yes. just take a look at capitaland. good news yet it still fell $0.14. but i would agree kepland's fall is so much more at 7.87%. holding power is the key. almost wanted to contra city dev on fri at $9.48. but luckily didnt. otherwise would have lost $530/lot.

The correction was expected even healthy bcos wat follows will be a period of consol but the degree was excessive in my point of view. Still, I believe Matthew is right. Cheers! |

I have vested in KepLand (but bought in at higher px due to POEMS faulty "Pending Withdrawal' issue) but I feel good after reading so many positive comments on KepLand. |

IMO, Kepland has a powerful portfolio of development in Singapore, China, Vietnam, Indonesia. Will easily re-rate if recovery firms up. If recall correctly, Kep Lan price was > than capitalland in2007. Worth waitig.
Yes, it is good news for this counter but as i see it trade compare capitalland, it is almost the same. I tell myself also donot panic if there are sell down on next monday. As long as you keep at least 2-3 months. It will chase the price with Capitalland.
any idea will kep chiong on monday? =D

kepland's rights oversubscribed at 146.96% the intended amt of rights. this is 24.86 percentage point higher than capitaland's rights issue, which was oversubscribed as well at 122.1% in march. this is considered good news isnt it?

E-war, I agree with you. Exactly why I decided to buy back in case Kepland becomes even more expensive. I believe the price is reasonable and already quite low ; I love its exposure to growing markets in China, Vietnam and India, and its involvement in green project development - ecocity. I see more projects coming for them with this push for environment-sustainable development. Even if there is some price decrease after buying, the opportunity cost incurred is nothing compared with the bigger potential gain. I'm not taking any chances.

Hi Amily, a good reference for this stock is Capitaland if u r really unsure. During a similiar period in time for Cap (rights week), it's recovery was stagnant abt 2 to 2.2 (by the way, I regretted selling my stuff then, it shld have been a time to accumulate more on hindsight). After that, well the rest is history. Look at where it is now. Still, the decision is yours. Cheers! |

Agreed.
