This...Gas prices down for the 38th day in a row and this....
GuocoLand Limited - Hit by local property slide and this....Capland's NAV is S$3+, so it is trading above NAV now, while most of the other property counters are trading well below their NAV.
Still.......Alot of room and alot of meat left.

You are right! I'm using more 1-2 mths time frame. Intraday is not for me as it is too stressful for me and no time as i'm working. Also, don't know how to read intraday methods. Tried before but cannot work ah...so decided to stick to my med term approach.
MA can be wrong at times. So to minimise error, do it in parts.
The problem with me is not MA but myself. Too emotional. Sometimes get in too fast and out too early without sticking strictly to the TA rules. The greatest enemy is still myself. ha....ha..
BTW, Jim Rogers had an interview and was published in a website (see my other thread). Nice to read.
He said he had covered his shorts lately. (I interpreted as turning point)
He also predicted US will go bust like UK but not in our lifetimes...LOL. So relax...
He complimented Singapore reserves as well... So you have stayed in the right country, btw, he is also in Singapore.
All the best.

For those who might be confused as to why there's a disparity of views in the below posts with regards to the performance of Capitaland, it's because of the differing timeframe of reference for the TA conducted.
In my case, my timeframe is purely on intraday/swing trade basis, I'm talking about very fast execution rates. HLJHLJ and Singaporegal's views are also valid also, because they evaluate on the basis of mid-term stock trend (likely using daily charts to forecast stock performance for up to 1-2 mths ahead). I use price action, HLJHLJ uses moving average signals which require some stock uptrending period before it shows as MA turning up, Singaporegal prefers A/D, Chaikin, Bollingers bands (pls feel free correct me if I'm wrong ;-))
My main point is, it's important to decide what kind of trader/investor you are (short term scalp/swingtrader/investor etc). Then you analyse the stock and see if you are comfortable to enter a trade or stay out. DON'T EVER ENTER A TRADE BLINDLY.

MA and williams TA show otherwise. Might be a rebound, no doubt but general trend is still down. MA is still not merging yet.
