United Envirotech’s two principal activities, which are undertaken by its two Chinese subsidiaries – NOVO Envirotech (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. (“NOVO Tianjin”) and NOVO Envirotech (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd. (“NOVO Guangzhou”) are as follows:

• Environmental Engineering – designing and implementing integrated systems for engineering solutions, based mainly on its membrane technology, to address the specific needs of its customers, and;
• Environmental Consultancy - assisting its customers to proactively identify their environmental health and safety (“EHS”) problems and set up a framework for EHS management. This will help its customers manage potential risks and improve their EHS performances. By providing both environmental engineering and environmental consultancy solutions.

In addition to the environmental engineering and consultancy businesses, it also invests in wastewater treatment plants under the Build-Operate-Transfer and Transfer-Operate-Transfer agreements. These projects are typically municipal plants backed by off-take agreements from the Chinese Government. 2 such wastewater treatment plants located at Liaoyang City, Liaoning province and Xintai City, Shandong province represent examples of such projects. These plants have a treatment capacity of up to 200,000m3/day and 80,000m3/day respectively. United Envirotech also invests in industrial park wastewater treatment plants. 1 such investment is the Membrane Bioreactor wastewater treatment plant in Xiao Hu Dao, Nansha. It owns, manages and operates these treatment plants.

United Envirotech's customers include petrochemical companies like China Petrochemical Corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation as well as industrial parks such as Daya Bay Hui Zhou, Guangzhou Nansha and Tianjin Economic Development Zone.
