Yah... I just saw it on Channel News Asia .... they recall 3000 units.

Not that many lah... but it'll cost them money and some loss of face.

 

OSIM today announced the recall of uZap Mini with lithium-ion batteries manufactured by its contrac manufactuer. Under certain conditions, it is possible for these batteries to overheat, which could cause a risk of fire..

Expect monday share price drops further again..

 

Osim still on downtrend... be cautious.

I am also wondering who is this Ivy ?  I thought it could be the Ivy who owns the real estate company - who was recently featured in the Straits Times (divorcee looking for partner, went to dating agencies to register and was rejected by the agencies). hehehe....

Ivy is an imaginary person of my dreams, my ideal fantasy if you like,  who has all the money in the world... and wants nothing more...  :)

yep, sadly on a downtrend, regardless of whether we admire him or not. hehe. i like olivia lum a lot too. really respect her. not many can overcome the odds that way. :)

Yes.. I'm impressed with Ron Sim as well. I went for a talk by him before and I must say, he is a humble person with no airs.

Unfortunately, Osim seems to be downtrending now.

hi rickytan, yep, osim's oversold. been oversold for quite a period of time already. concur with singaporegal on the downtrend reading too.



altho i'd never underestimate someone like ron sim tho. Was very impressed with him. in the days when they were just a small fry and asking for bank loans, this bigshot CEO himself did the presentation to a global bank, and he was wearing the same polo shirt as the rest of his group. Reason: they were a team and they worked together. No airs at all. Impressive.

 

Actually seriously speaking, I think the iGallop must be one of the most ingeniously useful  gadgets to be invented. It is a practical multi-purpose machine which is so brilliantly and thoughtfully conceived that I feel  must take my hats off to its creator. In the year 2035, looking back, this is one gadget that deserves a place, not in the museum, but in every supermarket shelf... :)
