This was announced on 16 Sep evening, but not much reaction today (17 Sep) wor.
The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Company has subscribed for 100,000 ordinary shares comprising 100% of the equity of Informatics Global Campus, Inc. (“IGCUS”), a company newly incorporated in the United States of America.
The issued and paid-up share capital of IGCUS is USD100,000 and its principal activity is that of an e-learning portal to provide e-learning for higher education programs and other education services.
The investment in IGCUS is funded through internal resources and the incorporation is not expected to have any material effect on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and the consolidated earnings per share of the Company based on the audited consolidated accounts of
the Company for the current financial year.
None of the controlling shareholders, directors or substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction.
