Says stock trading at premium to global LCC peer group
at 147 already premium, so 2 is superb premium. wat is he talking??? Dream....
$2 ?!?! that CITI guy daydreaming or wat? haha..... :P
0048 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: Citi initiates Tiger Airways (J7X.SG) at Buy, sets S$2.00 target price. Says low-cost airline offers investors pure-play exposure to structurally positive Asian low-cost carrier (LCC) growth story. Believes healthy long-term GDP growth, increasing government focus on aviation infrastructure to increase visitor arrivals and aviation industry liberalization to drive growth in Asian LCC market. "With one of the leanest cost bases globally, a sound expansion strategy and strong shareholder pedigree, Tiger is well poised to stimulate LCC demand as well as enlarge market share." Says stock trading at premium to global LCC peer group but valuation premium is "justified by superior growth" as Tiger's FY10-FY12 earnings growth expected to significantly exceed the peer group thanks to aggressive network expansion, better yields on route maturity and shorter sector length, continued cost cutting. Shares end down 0.7% at S$1.47 yesterday.(KIG)
LOL!! They pray to the wrong 'god of prediction' is it? Their prediction of SIA share price last year was screwed up and now, they predicted Tiger will drop. Open your eyes and see. hahaha!

Singapore, 19 February 2010.
Singapore today announced plans for a chartered aircraft dedicated to flying
overseas guests to Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore’s first integrated resort.
Yet to be named, the private flight service, operated by Tiger Airways, will
have an aircraft operating as a dedicated charter service for Resorts World
Sentosa, transporting guests between Singapore and other cities around the
region.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding signed on 5
Resorts World Sentosa will take over the lease of the aircraft, while pilots and
cabin crew of Tiger Airways operate the dedicated plane, which will ply Tiger
Airways’ existing region-wide network, as well as short haul routes within Asia
and Australasia.
Scheduled to commence operations in late 2010, the airline is poised to be
yet another mode of transportation for overseas guests from the region
travelling to and from Resorts World Sentosa. Details and flight schedules are
still be finalized, but guests can expect a seamless journey that would span
affordable air-travel followed by land transfers to Singapore’s first integrated
resort on Sentosa island.
Ms Rosalynn Tay, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore, said: "We
are proud to partner Resorts World Sentosa in bringing more visitors to
Singapore. This is a real alliance with real benefits to both partners. While
Tiger Airways gets a new revenue stream and reduced costs, Resorts World
Sentosa gets a cost-effective solution to bringing more customers to
Singapore’s most exciting new destination.”
“Having grown from a young cub to a big strong cat, it is time Tiger Airways
Singapore has its own cub to add strength and joy to the Tiger family. Asia
has many other untapped opportunities and we look forward to creating more
innovative ways to grow our paw prints in the Year of the Tiger,” Ms Tay
added.
Ms Liang Wern Ling, Director of Destination Sales, Resorts World Sentosa,
said: "We promised Singapore that Resorts World Sentosa will bring tourism
to the country and reinvent its tourism landscape. We are creating our own
airline with this first aircraft, which shows our commitment to bringing the
economic benefits to Singapore.’’

TIGER AIR had proven itself to be a GREAT FAILURE....
It will continue to be a GREAT FAILURE doing the SAME THING....
Einstein once said,
"It is CRAZY to expect things to CHANGE if ACTIONS remained UNCHANGED...."

Hi hi, AK avoid herbs, as got G6PD blood problem. Neither need to take any tablet, less my high blood stabilizer.
G6PD- Group 6 Proficiency Deficiency, an enzyme in d blood which will heel small cuts quickly. Lack of ds, can't donate blood to others, as haemo will break during storage. Direct transfuse ok, I think. I was only prompted ds problem during my no 8th blood donation, 20 over yrs ago. Father will pass ds blood deficiency to his daughter and daughter will pass it to grandson n soforth. Vice versa for mother having d same blood deficiency, first she will pass it to her son. It alergy to sulphur.
