Right, if you do not exercise the warrant at the exercised price, then yes, your current share holdings will be diluted.. Otherwise it won't be.
I do not think the election has much effect on the decision on this counter. just my take. Anyways I am vested in this counter at 0.415, 100 lots. Quite bullish in the long term.

Actually what i am afraid is the election result that might screw the whole project up... :( what do you think?

That's really tricky...
Nevertheless I don't see why PL would shoot himself in the foot and not let the deal go by, since he had promised this deal and it would take a beating to the investors who bought in specifically for this deal. Plus I believe he may need additional funding for other purposes and this offer would serve its purpose, that's why you see a slight jump in today's shares after the news was released at 5.18pm.

hi bro... thanks for the info... so can i say that i bought 10 lots at $0.375= $3750. warrants ratio is 2:1 at $0.18 which means 20 lots= 3600. $3750+$3600= $7350    $7350/30.000= $0.245. assuming the price is $0.40 i would have profited unrealized $0.155 per share. $0.155x30,000= $4650 excluding commission. Am i on the right track?

Tonylim,
Should the deal go through, how do you exercise warrants? This would be my first time doing so. Thanks!

I don't believe it will work that way, the issue of warrants will not dilute the share price in any way but allows the investor to gain " extra profits" by offering it at a huge discount to the current price of $0.38. So assuming you bought high and you're currently holding 10 lots at $0.5, ($5000), the deal entitles you 20 lots at $0.18 ($3600) so all in all you will own 30 lots at $0.2867 ish giving you an unrealised profit of $0.0933 per share to the current price of $0.38. Hence the phrase " warrants are  sweeteners" .
Do hope I explained it right.

just as i expected. needed some clarifications. by the way, free warrants of 2:1 ratio would mean that warrants= $0.18. current pricing= $0.380. new shares trading after warrants would be $0.18+$0.380=$0.560. $0.560/2= $0.28? is that right? $0.28 would be the new pricing after warrants? do not  quite understand how warrants work.

Logically  should be good news:
Rowsley will reward existing shareholders with a free bonus issue of two warrants for every one existing share. Each warrant will have an exercise price of S$0.18 per share
