Don't put too much into this. Very slow but safe of course.
Now is the time to go for growth stocks if  you aim for longer terms.

forgo prpty at this moment liao, though Allgreen and HK land had posted some bright side on its lat qtr earnings.

Development will not be able to make money another more .... as construction cost is higher than land cost .... similarly ... SPH is going to suffer as a development ....

You are talking about the 1-year intra-day low, which is dependent very much on luck if you want to buy at 3.96 on that day.

If you intend to keep it for fundamental reasons, the current price of 4.03 is actually not far from 3.96, which means it is still not too late to buy now.

No traders or investors can buy at the lowest possible price, nor can they sell at the highest price.

SPH's chart is bearish. There might be a chance for you to buy at price lower than 3.96.

Agree that SPH must reinvent and innovate even further. All investors know that its core news business, magazines, are almost as good gone, though they generate steady income. One of the item on annual report investors do not like to see is the ever increasing staffing cost. Paragon and Sky-11 is a one off holding and people want to see it divested or reited to fetch good cash. But being a steady mammoth, it will have to reinvest the cash into other media related business that could set for higher growth, which is not that easy. Sheding off Paragon, and using the cash to do buy back will not be taken as good news. How about giving some cash dividend? Maybe. But then after that it will still be left with the good old cash cow which people generally want to see. Billboards, Reactrix, are just the beginning of foray into media advertising in a new era. Typing up with SMRT, bus companies to do such advertising may well take SPH further.

  SPH has to reinvent itself to generate more cash flow ..... after Sky@eleven ... Paragon what's next ..

Can you have another say ... Sky@Bradell ??  Continue to increase rental in Paragon ??

What is the growth in readership ??   Will advertisement continue to increase ??

Do you visit their many websites ....
