TA - SingTel - Testing support
- SingTel has been on a decline since Oct 07 and is currently testing the support at the long-term uptrend line that connects the higher lows between Mar 07 and Jan 08.
- The price consolidation at the uptrend line could result in a mild rebound. Given the positive divergence displayed by the RSI and the oversold position of the stochastic indicator, we can expect a near-term rebound to the resistance level of S$3.60 – 3.68.
- However given the weak volume on days where bullish candlestick formations occurred over the previous trading week, and the downwards trending 50-, 100- and 200-day moving averages, we feel the upside is capped at this stage.
- After the mild rebound, we expect SingTel to re-test the support at the uptrend line. If this support fails to hold, we could witness the price slide towards the support at S$3.16.
Ya more of negative sentiment....
Stel has broken its previous trading band....$3.46 now....
I dun see anything wrong with paying her $3 or 4 or 5 mils if the coy can make $4bil or more consistently under her leadership. Singtel could outperformed in the current market subject to M&A activities. Stay tune and kiv.
ayoh paying that lady annual sal of 3.x m as compared to her pre-successor much less than her.
though being a small share holder, feeling pinch as well. sacking people is not a solution but reduce sal may be relevant.

This is very tempting. After Div payout, it'll drop further. =)
Just found out that we need to pay for such services.

ok, on lah, let it be 3.60 loh, discounted the 6.9cts div.
won't be selfish, ha ha you know my break even is 3.74, he he. chiat lut.
Hmmmmmmmm...in normal condition, the 3.74 target is easy to hit. But now quite 'windy' and need to adjust to the wind-speed. The further the target, the easier it is be blown off-course! Bring it closer to around the 3.60 target-range would be a better chance to hit. Cheers!
ha ha, then make the TP at 3.74 loh. cheers.
Target too far leh.....hard to hit bull. Place it nearer lah, then can hit bull easier ma.....! Cheers!
On 8/Jul/08 From OIR, SingTel TP $4.29
Ms Chua bought millions of shares again at $3.50
Wish that all head honchos of listed companies follow her example
Naproxen, do you need you to pay for such services?

Owing to DJ last nite performance, STI morning session was more on tech rebound. May see more sell down in the afternoon, for profit taking over the last week's trading day.
