06- +S$69mil- most people use profit fr hot stock market then to relax in d casinos, world wide mah.

07- -381mil

08- -124mil

09- -277mil

1Q10- -396mil, first q alrdy lost that much, though claiming most part of it fr impariment on UK ops of 478mil. Indirectly RWS got profit lah, to balance the report book loh.

2Q10 is coming, again RWS sure make money, but not sure those at EU, Aus, Msian n Phi?

 

Every month's end - singaporeans' night at casino 24 hours , that will be good.   lol!

 

Genting sets its big feet in Singapore, they 'might' pay dividend or force to pay...  hahaha!

may be our govt really don't want us to lose our saving(to lose the wealth of the country when bank's saving dropped) work permit holders are still foreigners.

By the way, Indians are very thrifty people, many don't go to casinos. they are afraid of losing money. I ever asked an Indian, he said every cent is hard earned money to them, so they don't want to throw it away. though, I agree somepeople have a way to win most of the time, especially play cards.

i chose to sit next to them, i won  too!    but, not that sport cars .   I wont be surprised, the sport car might be won buy an indian nationality.   kekeke!

lately, seen indian nationality appearing more and more at caisno (RWS).   Got one lady super lucky keep winning.  Another guy also keep winning.   hahahha!    May be , genting trying to lure them to casino more often. 

 

Hahaha, the only market that ppl prefer to buy in expensive rather than cheap price is "share market", isn't it??? 

 

why it is not the other way round ?  as in some ppl sold at low price, and now buying at high price.  :)

The real growth of company comes from new customers, new  businesses etc.  Is this happening in our Casino businesses?    yes.

Also, the 2 new casnios in singapore has opened up new opportunites to those workers who were being laid-off .

We are not at the biggest threat like 2008/2009.

 

P/s - Any businesses can face upside or downside, so as buying of stocks in other peoples' companies of whom, we may not even know. :)
