India's GMR Infrastructure, which holds 30% in Golden Energy, will be offered the opportunity to sell some or all its shares to United Fiber.
Golden Energy will become a subsidiary of United Fiber after the completion of the deal.

hey guys for since 1.5billion sgd of new shares, +134k current market cap, at 3.5cts, doesnt it mean that if it ever hits 10cts the market cap must be 4.6billion sgd?
isnt that impossible?

92% more shares will be allotted, thats 44billion shares at 3.5cts
they will probably consolidated 5 to 1 or something,
but if this deal is just a proposal, and if it doesnt work out, price will go back to 2.8cts
so many speculators everywhere....

this is a no brainer... Large conglomerate using unifibre as a back door listing..
look at the value of the takeover..it's billion $..
don't think unifibre will be 3-4c in the near future..
Just bought Unifiber. Another Ramba in the making
General question ... is it true that when a company takes over another company, it's shares will depreciation ? Will appreciate only when it is being bought over instead of taking over? Appreciate advise. thanks

The Board of Directors of United Fiber System Ltd (the "Company"¯) wishes to announce that the Company has on 14 October 2009 issued and delivered 17,704,062 ordinary shares pursuant to the Advance Notice for S$900,000 (the "Advance"¯) to YA Global Master SPV Ltd. ("YA Global"¯), as per the Amended and Restated S$165 million Equity Line of Credit Facility dated 2 August 2005 and Second Amendment Agreement dated 21 July 2009 as partial repayment of the US$15,000,000 Series B Equity Line Backed Loan Note.
The shares delivered will comprise 0.59% of the Company's enlarged issued and paid-up share capital after the issue of 17,704,062 new shares to YA Global.
