JP Morgan - this baby TP: $11.00 <---- Big dreams

Short term might test $8.65 - $ 8.80 Range - Price target from Zhuge liang's investment fund.

He expected to be around $8.50 - $8.60 will be the support point.

If Zhuge is correct this time, we can see it next week, but if he is wrong, this chap may gap down to $7.50 next week.

I doubt OCBC can over-take either DBS or UOB.

By the way, what happened to the government's plan on Singapore having a maximum of two domestic banks?

The smallest of the 3 Singapore banks is about to become a very large bank, and making it to $10.00 per share after bond issues should be not be a problem over a short while.

This Chinese junk seemed to be having the wind on its side now!  In the last bull run (before the Wall Street's Crisis), it put up a disappointing performance in relation to the other two banks.  Anyone anticipating it breaking the $10-mark???

DJ MARKET TALK: OCBC Upgrades Genting Singapore To Buy From Hold
  • 13 November 2009 11:44

  • 0342 GMT [Dow Jones] STOCK CALL: OCBC Investment Research upgrades Genting Singapore (G13.SG) to Buy from Hold, raises target price to S$1.31 from S$1.01; "while we are leaving our FY09 estimate largely unchanged, we have narrowed our FY10 loss estimate significantly by 44.1% as there is less of an overhang from its UK operations and longer contribution period from Resorts World At Sentosa." Notes gaming group plans to soft-launch casino-resort in January. Adds 3Q09 results show tough restructuring measures taken by Genting working as UK operations have turned around; "while it is still too early to say if the UK economy is out of the woods, it may be safe to say that its UK operations would be less of a drag on the group." 3Q09 revenue +17.1% on-quarter at S$140.7 million due to improvement in UK casino business, although bottomline at S$93.3 million loss due to fair value loss on derivative financial instruments, higher expenses incurred for Resorts World. Stock off 0.9% at S$1.11. (FKH)

Seems MM contemplating a difficult to make decision to let it drop or sustain above current overnight level and beyond.  If allowed to drop, next week it goes back to beginning of month Nov price, i.e. 7.44 lowest.dangerous px, if pushing, the comfortable level is above 8.20. Let's see how this bugger is doing.

Don't buy, please sell instead.  Why?  When market was good and when news was good, and when sentiment was good, this bugger refused to move up like the two other banks.

This means this chap shunned by most investors esp the bigger boys.  And when will it be expected to move up? In bad times? No no no.  A big SELL!!!  Run!
