Hmmm... I know what you mean. The business prospect isnt bright for synear in this environment.
I do some TA. plan to let it go @ 0.19-0.2. @ around 38.2% retracement. what do you think?
The current situation is so bad for Synear.
Seriously, I got myself a bad one this time round.
By the way, what happened to China Hong Xing?
Pardon my noobest haha... I gues I need to do more research on market sentiments next time I buy stock.

Inflation is a serious problem in PRC now.
Labour Cost, Food price especially pork, flour has spiked.
Try to sell on strength.......selling now doesn't seems to be a good idea because of China HongXing problem.
This stock is suspended (SUS) due to account irregularity and it has an effect on all S-Chips......Chinese Company with Chinese Management.(CCCM)
The only good news for Synear is that it has zero debt......less chance of having issue.
And Synear has been above 20cts since Apr 2009.......it was never that cheap lor.......

I understand that Synear has a strong cash reserve. But its profit is inconsistent for the past 3-4 years. Coupled with the soaring inflation in China, I am not sure if it still can keep up with the rise of production cost.
By the way, what is s-chip and SUS? haha please teach me some new terms.
Either way, if you were me, what will you do?
You have already lost 6 cts or 26%.  It is neither here nor there lor.
To ave is very risky plus the recent trouble in CHX.....the fourth S-chip counter to be SUS.  It is a confidence crisis with S-chips.
At least it report results within 2months of closing Q, and pay DIV.
A kicker for you.....Synear is one of the first companies in SGX to donate food and money to the Sichuan Earthquake.....so.....how bad can they get.......
Anyway, it is your money, it is your call lor....

Hi, I am new to stocks.
After studying TA for a few months, I bought synear @ 0.23, as the support seems to hold.
However, I got faked out.
With the recent " Not Very Fantastic" (NVF) annual report, the price went tumbling.
Right now I have 2 choices:
1) Sell and make a loss
2) Buy more at a lower price to average out the cost.
I would like to hear some opinions or any other trading ides from you guys.
Thanks for sharing in advance.

Is this a s-chip as well?
Given that it has already posted its results, the tumbling effect shouldn't be that great right?
have been keeping my eye on this counter to check if there is room to grow further, but after studying the Q4 result, i knw i can switch my attention to other counter.........
another lousy counter............the way they presented their Q4 performance did not unfold clearly the performance of that particular quarter.....the profit for Q4 dropped tremendously.....which is unacceptable.......noticed Q4 would be their lousiest quarter but Q410 was simply too lousy....ever since market moved forward from abyss at mar 09, it was about 21 months away from it, the profit has yet to return or recover to the pre-crisis level..not even 50% of the pre-crisis profit.....YET, it is still priced with PE of 11, wondering and scratching my head what makes it worth tt PE.......comparing this to other S-chip, this is one of them which has been generously priced in........19 cts for the time being is still too expensive.....should the Q1 of FY2011 performs lousy again, there is no doubt there are further rooms to drop.........

Chinese frozen food manufacturer Synear Food Holdings has posted FY2010 profit of RMB 117.7 million ($22.9 million), 30.5% lower than the year before.
Synear says its cost of sales rose due to more expensive raw materials such as pork, flour, sugar and vegetables, as well as higher labour and welfare expenses. The group also spent more on advertising and promotional activities, as well as logistics and transportation.
Revenue was up slightly to RMB 1.9 billion, due to higher sales of glutinous sweet dumplings. Savoury dumplings remained the best-selling product, accounting for 44.1% of total sales.
Synear is also expanding its production facilities, with the new Zhengzhou plant to be completed by 2013, and is scheduled to have extra cold storage space ready by the end of this year.

Chart tell a story. Results tell another story.. Whatever chart it is, I
am still a strong believer of its end result, i.e. profit and loss a/c.

it seems like last week volume was a fake signal.. today will easily go back to 23 cents again, maybe 22 cents?
what a surprise 45% net profits drop compared to last 3Q results..
9months net profits for CY 10, 14.5% net profits decreased...
probably this year will end flat again..
