Why not ? anything is possible...price is below NAV while profit is accelerating.

Like what I said previously, those who buy at 1.5 cents hope to sell at 2 cents to make a quick buck.

Now they are selling off because they cannot hold...... while smart money is accumulating.

Can Sapphire actually be the next Noble equivalent? It is because Noble was just like $0.03 in share values about 8 years back... or maybe longer? I couldn't really remember though...

Can I say that this Sapphire will have a chance to rocket in the say next 2 years? Anything similar to Noble? I saw that Noble price was about $0.03 many years back.

Absolutely.  Never fall in love with any stock (this was my problem in the first decade of investing). You are into it for its investment value (either trading play or long term), and out because the stock lost its direction or you want to cash out.

Problem is stock is too affordable......Ppl buy at 1.5 cents want to sell at 2 cents to make a quick buck.

This is herd mentality...when price does not move by next week they will throw,,,while smart money is accumulating.  If price goes up...they will chase......higher and higher.

I think we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I am hoping that more things will evolve....... maybe transfer to first board.....aggressive expansion.

Just my personal opinion...not an inducement to trade.

Stock flirting with 2 cents several times today. Not sure if this is knee jerk to the earnings report or if this is a sustainable towards 2.5/3 cents.

I think stocks like Sapphire are difficult to rate a short term target price by our "herd instinct" analysts.  However if Sapphire's growth and biz management fundamentals are intact, then I can only say I should anticipate good upside off the bottom of the barrel.  I am expecting (hoping?) Sapphire can revisit the 5 to 6 cents band if not higher over the next one year to two years on the basis of quarter-on-quarter clear visible earnings growth.

Disclaimer : Vested.

So the criteria of accelerated  profits has been fulfilled :

$1.09 mil in 2008

$43.5 mil in 2009

$88 mil in 1st H 2010

The big question is......will this penny rocket to the moon?

I am encouraged by the continued profit growth, and the NAV has increased to 2.18 cents per share. Also think Management is on the right track focusing on higher margin Vanadium product, and increasing capacity from 2,500 to 3,500 tpy and will be recognising the full contrubution from this enhanced capacity in FY2010.

Haha...let's keep our fingers crossed......see their expansion plans....we are talking about vanadium, an integrated steel company right from mining to production.

All the companies under Sapphire's stable are possible IPO candidates.....Saphire Mineral Resources, Wei Yuan Steel, Special Steel

With a spate of recent penny stocks running, will Sapphire be the next in line to fly to the moon?
