LMA is hovering between 42-45c which it had tried very hard to breakout the 45c Brickwall.

lee....., if you're a Trader, I'm sure you've already 'dumped' the damned share at 44/45c.

If you're a long term Player, it depends on your entry level. If entry was around 70c, it'd be better off to hold on as you've already been 'hurt' deep (only now your long term will be longer than b4) ...unless you've found a better one to recover some loss (LMA). If you've bought LMA recently, dump it and go for retail businesses counters (Seasonal spending & strong economy) for mid term Play. Cheers!

If the share px of LMA holds firm everyday, LMA mgmt could just sit on their fat backsides and get rewarded for being the best mgmt team for doing nothing! Cheers!

What can the LMA mgt do if the price hold firm every day?  Eat humble pie by buying from the "buyers".  This situation would only happen if the contra players (contra long and contra short ) keep away from this counter!!  Hope those "vultures" would swoop on other carcasses!!

Contra  daily traders who buy LMA shares every day, hoping to make kopi $$$ are "barking up the wrong tree".  If they keep away, LMA should hold firm, even if it does not move north.  Contra traders and short sellers form a "huge" chunk of the market!

Hikitty is absolutely rite - risk&reward depends on many variables and situations and of course, the Player's own way of participation of the game.

BTW, it doesn't mean that when LMA buy back its own shares, the share px'd dip is limited. The Market could decide otherwise. Never under-estimate the 'unseen' Forces of the Market. May the Forces be with you! Cheers!

Hi cashiertan

The downside risk is very limited because of LMA mgt's DAILY buyback scheme. As long as the damned  daily  contra traders (who hope to make "easy kopi $$$)  keep away from this counter, upside potential is  good.   Of course,  short sellers are always welcome (the more the merrier)  to sell down  in tandem with the Dow's dip.  Don't play CONTRA on LMA. Be a long-term (say six months) investor and you'll surely be rewarded!!!.

Hi cashiertan

The risk to reward ratio for every share depends on the risk appetite. For those who subscrbe to the "golden" rule of "patience"  would buy LMA shares. Hope the "blind" short sellers who have been  short selling  LMA shares, thinking the buyers are only "contra players" would suffer "third degree" burns.  Don't forget LMA dip would  be limited because of  its buy-back scheme!!

Your law of "stock market physics" is so interesting...

I think Henry$ is trying to load it onto a dumping truck so that it could be dumped immediately by just tilting the truck! Cheers!

Mani,  remember the basic physics - every force will always have an equal opposite force. Thence, 2 upward forces need only 1 equal opposite downward  force to balance the equation.  Cheers!

I have much confidence that it will move out of .45, if and as soon as it hits 0.455/.46 on the next trading day (Friday), it is very likely to surge.

Simply follow the dictates of the price itself...

If it rises, it is rising, if it falls back it will fall... Smiley

The price of LMA went to a low of $0.35 recently after the profit guidance announcement. For those who bought at $0.35, well done. I suppose there will be a rebound after the initial shock. However, i would urge caution for investors who feel that it is a good buy at current price due to low P/E or low price to cash flow or other financial ratios.

Very shocking. Today's buyback volume - only 500 lots out of a total volume of 1813. That  means the purchase by retail investors was only a DISAPPOINTING 1313 lots, some of whom might be by "smart" short sellers (those "blind" short sellers who don't read LMA's buyback announcement)

Hi Henry$$$

Why load when mkt sentiment is poor for LMA?  It may take at least two years for LMA to surge to its IPO price.  Without LMA being  "artifically"  supported by the LMA mgt currently, it might have continued "bleeding" . The sad part is the mgt is rather cheapskate and "shrewd" by buying back only after it has dipped. The performance of LMA shares to date has been a total disgrace to its international image. It has not been able to perform better than certain China shares.  No wonder that.Temasek Holding had dumped its placement shares NOT long after it surged past $1. Temasek  had the foresight that the prospect for LMA  was NOT bright!!!!    There are other better counters to load that will move north faster than LMA within a span of TWO long years..  Every counter will one day  move north.  The only concern is whether it will be at "snail's" or "missile's pace.     LMA is likely to move north at a snail's pace, pending the outcome of its cases against Ambu, which may be resolved only in two years!. Don't forget that LMA has been UNDERPERFORMING since being listed in 2005 because of patent infringements which have affected its profitability VERY badly.
