Anyway, I will be holding this stock for  at leat one year. Its Q2 resulst may be not as good as last year, but it should be better than Q1. Its H2 will be much better than that of last year. In my opinion, hold this stock until next year and we will get reward. I suspect that some big buyers may want to push down the price.....

TA charts do not show strong bullish signals. The Acc/dist and chaikin charts are still pretty flat. Wait a few more days

According to Digitimes, handset PCB makers have reported sluggish sales for Jun, as clients had yet to clear their inventories amid weak demand from handset vendors, such as

Compeq Manufacturing

Wus chairman Dennis Lin has pointed out that although the traditional peak season has arrived for handset vendors to launch new models, inventory issues at clients will prevent demand from picking up until at least mid-Jul to Aug.

This suggests that while 3Q usually sees a pick up in business momentum in the handset space, this year may not see the usual 15-20% qoq strength. This in turn suggest that there will likely be downside risks (in terms of earnings) to major handset suppliers such as JurTech (80-85% exposure to the sector).and Unitech Printed Circuit Board posted sequential revenue declines of 12% and 5%, respectively, for Jun, while Unimicron Technology saw revenues rise only 1.8% sequentially in Jun. Handset PCB orders for Wus also remained weak in June.Motorola.

To get a feel on the sentiment of these large shareholders, perhaps we should examine their recent transaction on Jurtech - If majority are/have been 'trimming' OR 'acquiring more' of JurTech shares.

I think the acquirement of i_Sirius is good Jurtech in the long term. I am not sure about it in the short term. Anyway, this stock is good for those long-term strategy stcokholder. The followings were the first two twenty largest stockholder of Jurtech.

Talking about i-Sirius, so is the Motorola Satellite Radio phone FX850P gonna be available in SG or for the matter manufacture partly or wholly by JurTech?

Well, this counter have great potential.  With good earnings and good strategy on growth .. at such a low PE. What else can you look for . Low risk and very high possibility of huge returns..

June PMI & Advance 2Q07 GDP release

June PMI - A good rebound

Thanks to a rebound in orders and production, the June reading of the Singapore Purchasing Managers? Index (PMI) rose 2.3 pts to a reading of 52.3 vs. 50.0 in May. A reading above 50 indicates expansion in manufacturing activities. This is the highest reading so far this year. More importantly, the electronics PMI recorded an increase of 2.0 pts to 53.1, the highest reading in 3 months. There was an across the board rebound from orders, production, inventory to employment. It must be noted that these PMI readings are not seasonally adjusted and the rebound in June may be attributed to the fact that there are more working days in June than compared to April and May! Nevertheless, the rise in tech orders is encouraging and it support our view that we should see stronger tech output in 2H07 vs. 1H07. However we note that the overall manufacturing employment index is still below the 50 line. It looks like manufacturers are not in a hurry to hire more despite the uptick in orders and production.

Jurong Tech

JP Morgan :
"We initiate coverage on Jurong Technologies (Jurtech) with Underweight and
a Jun-08 price target of S$0.82. The company operates in the EMS
industry under cut-throat competition and compressed margins
that hamper its growth in the near term."

Dear Reader,

From TA analysis, Jur Tech have rather similar trend as UTAC.

Now Jur Tech is flatten and affect of STI slippage is rather neligible..

I heard some BB have some action on this counter....

May consider its hidden potential, don't miss the boat!!

In the past 6 months, I have similar feeling on UTAC as well. Time prove my judgement now from 70 c to $1++

Looks like corporate bonds to me.  Another way of generating funds from the public for the corporation.  There will be interest payback to the public taking up the bonds, the interest will be reflected as debts in the P/L.
