Hi mirage,

Its a little hard to tell now. CAO's price just stepped up which is very rare. Usually there's a steady uptrend to a new price level.

Volumes for CAO are on the decline since the large increase. Interest may be returning to pre-surge levels.

Hi Singaporegal, let's take a fresh look at ChinaAOil, what's your views now? CAO seems to be inching up recently. What's the entry price if we want to invest in this stock? Your TA views please.

FA gurus, what's your views in this CAO. I understand Temasek Holdings has a stake in this stock? Long term wise should we invest in this stock? Thanks. Regards, Mirage.

Ha Singaporegal, now we both have battle scars to show each other... Since I am very small time, I believe your scars should be gaping compared to my scab!!! What's heartening is, you picked yourself up and learnt from it - that's a fighter...and a wiser investor. Got tons to learn from you still. Thanks for sharing.

Hi colorado,

i repeat...just buy and hold for end of year and do not be afraid and ask...will reach $2 soon when the BIG ELEPHANTS are waiting to push it in "ROCKETS" when you cannot react with the GAP :)

to buy to sell really depend on your current position and investor life span (short term, mid term or long term) and the risk level is different for different person at even the same price...for those who buy at the low side of $1-$1.20, one may choose to buy on dip and hold or choose to take some profit at $1.8 plus level, and as long as he know how to protect his profit, it is very low risk even if he buy on dip...for those who have no position, the risk short term is higher (mid and long term just ignore the fructuation and risk is lower as it should move up to above $2 due to FA....but in the process may rangebound between $1.68-$2)...good luck

Hi Singaporegal,  I got burnt quite bad with one of my stocks until the stench still permeate the air Smiley .... But I have to add that I learnt tons from you already (thanks!!!! Smiley) and am now more confident though still need a little hand holding once in a while.  I got a copy of Martin Pringe but have not the luxury of time to imbibe the contents so need to snitch snippets of wisdom from you all.

Please keep your recommendations coming cos you don't know how much that means to novices like me... Smiley

Have a restful weekend and recuperate soon..

It's ok Singaporegal....what matters is you realised you made a wrong call so just laugh it off and move on.  Come on, nobody has a crystal ball to gaze into anyway..Smiley

Hmmm... I like that humility of yours, it shows you are magnanimous enough to admit wrong and that's to be applauded.Smiley

However, I must add that I was "wise" not to have "listened" to you 'cos I am sitting on a 35% profit. (Not meant to rub salt on the wound though...)  kekeke.  Just a lesson for us to learn that TA is not 100% so we must also rely on other factors like eg, no time to track as a way to make profit.  Ha ha... just wanted to poke fun at myself that this profit is by default 'cos I also saw the trend moving south.  So take heart!!!
