hi stanchiam, i don't really understand your earlier posting this morning. do you mean that genting after hitting 0.74 (or in this cse 0.74) will dip to 0.63?
What does 'projec into fibo ext 1.618' and 'fibo retracement of 50%' mean?
thanks.
stanchiam:
Kudos to you.
Your elliot wave count price of m0.73 posted at 10.31 this morning was almost spot-on at closing which was 0.74.
It seems my prediction is accurate, when i predicted it, the price was still @ 0.68. Lets hope I am right. The level to watch now is 0.66, 063 and 0.60(the lowest I predict it can go). I will buy @ 0.63, fibo retracement of 50% or 0.5 level. Cheers.
PS: I trade forex and use the same technic in shares to come out with the estimates. Pls note all estimated price are rounded up.

I remember one broking house estimated Genting's worth to be 80cents if it wins the Sentosa IR, which it did. Another estimate was 62 cents. Looks like it fits into the wave pattern?
Using elliot wave count, this should be wave 3 up. Should project into fibo ext 1.618 @ about 0.73 cents before retracing to 0.63. Well lets see if the count is correct. Final wave 5 should be @ about 0.86 cents.
By the way, I do not have charting tools to get the figures, all based on manual calculation. Therefore may not be accurate. Cheers.
m out at 0.69

Very nice which correlate to demand theory complement with a optimistic year end window dressing mode.
Best luck to all vested.

Buyers: most probably fund managers.
The implication of Gent Intl IF inclued in the MSCI index:
Fund managers whose funds are tie closely to MSCI as benchmark will have to include this counter in its portfolio, whether they like it or not. Perhaps, that explains the buying up.
The other one is, propose of new share placements to up its float. Hence, bookrunners might be doing a bit of touch up on the shares.
Probably, that explains a bit on the high volume.
At least you can get an iGallop for your friend... hehe...

I think it is always good to take profit when the going is good, otherwise everything is only just on paper and still subject to market forces. My two cents worth :-)
never underestimate the power of aunties and uncles... they probably make more from the market than you and I... they are more shrewd than you think...

Not really.
It depends on the optimism tone (of the conversationist) of that counter at that point of time. Only when they sound apprenhensive, then maybe its time.
When ppl feel optimistic, they feel great and dont' mind paying a bit extra's. If they feel scared, they would even bail up at a discount.
Just sharing some opinions. Pls ignore if i waste thread bandwidth.
However, i base everything on chart.

Everybody who is in share trading is aware that when aunties and hawkers are talking about shares in the market, it is time to sell.
But greed is tempting me to hold back my 30 lots bought at 0.47.
Should I hold on or let go????? Hmmmmm.....
