It is sharply higher ahead of the relisting next month of electronics waste recycler Citiraya Industries, which has been suspended from trading since Jan 2005, dealers said.
Heshe in March this year bought a 37.5% stake in Citiraya, and Citiraya's impending relisting has whipped up investor appetite in Heshe, they said.
Trading in Citiraya was suspended in January last year when CAD and the CPIB launched separate investigations into the company. Citiraya last traded at $1.08 sgd on Jan 20, 2005.
In December 2005, Citiraya assistant general manager Ng Teck Boon was sentenced to eight years in prison for corruption.
Ng was convicted in connection with a $1.82m scam in which he bribed staff working with customers of Citiraya. The bribes were part of a ploy to divert unwanted electronic scrap to Citiraya so that the firm could resell it in other markets.
Citiraya was put into judicial management in September last year and in March this year, Heshe, in partnership with Oei Hong Leon, bought a 75% stake in the company for $16.1m.
Heshe and Oei now hold 37.5% stakes each in Citiraya. Their entry into Citiraya has paved the way for Citiraya's discharge from judicial management. A relisting of the company on the Singapore Exchange has been scheduled on Oct 4.
In anticipation of the relisting, investors have accumulating Heshe on the view that the electronics waste recycling business has good potential.
"Citiraya's business is good as long as they (management) behave themselves," a dealer with a local brokerage said.
In fact, in the absence of Citiraya, other electronics waste recyclers have surfaced, including SembCorp Industries unit SembCorp Environmental Engineering, which has reportedly snared Citiraya customers such as IBM, Nokia, Philips, Infineon Technologies and ST Microelectronics.
It is hoping to get the green light from Citiraya shareholders on Monday for its restructuring plan.
Anyone wishes to buy now, may have to wait for another 2 cents up and who can tell HESHE and OHL kakis let go, if U r next to them U r very rich liao, if not very poor if U r not with them.

HESHE. This stock been punt and been speculatedby OHL and partner and his kakis, 20cts maybe target, so 18/18 half take profit. my personnal opinion oni hohh.......
If it is like day traders buy and sell the next immediate px of half a cent that ok with better volume, buy high and sell higher, does risk out weight it gain ?? (retailer risk been caught w/o knowing when big boys let go). Ur $$$ Ur decision. Just do get caught, wish U good luck.
