Did anything of delisting mention? I don't come across it. There only mention going to sell Miaoli wind, huanan expressway and the changsha port. and keep the TBC, but how much they are going to sell, and when it is not mention.

Hi olyflying fox,

Time to collect money.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-12-18/macquarie-to-shut-singapore-infrastructure-fund-on-share-outlook.html

Regular/special divident will be aroung 6~8cents, and asset selling payout around 75~80cents, total get back should be around, 81~88cents.

Cheers.

I am not too worry on it, they will annource the usual half year dividend in coming Feb and I would  expect together with  the special dividend. I think there is still 10% room to go up until then, not forgeting that even the usual full year dividend of $0.55 work out more than 8% yield at the present price.

I'm vested.

Yup! don't worry too much! is quite normal for ppl to take profit especially those bought around 50+ cents. The chart looks healthy and may see it move up to breakout 64.5 cents in time to come. think long term it will move up to 70 cents (NAV) or sooner when the comp announce the special dividend to be paid out..

hmm a bit worried. i dont understand why the market not keen   on the special payout from their cash reserves... also seems to me very positive   news in articls yesterday ...

they had written off the wind biz but they say after that they still can sell and proceeds to gif to shareholders, and each of the other fat assets ... these latter assets could easily increase in value thus appreciating further the NAV of the company??/

i dont understand why people are not buying this as a safe investment??

m i rite or wrong? can anyone correct me if i m wrong?Smiley

Let's collect the usual dividend of 2.75 cents + Special dividend of 5-8 cents first. Which i feel is a very good dividend pay-out ..

Is quite normal for price to fluctuate before heading higher..

Have to be patient ... it would take at least a year for it to dispose  its assets which  are all infrastructure related and have an illiquid market........

I think that question could not be answered now as we will not know how much and how soon these asset could be sold. But it really don't make sense to sell it below NAV as it still contribute income.

However, do expect first round of good news soon as they working how much to give out as special dividend from the existing excess cash. Therefore, should easily hit $0.7 when it annource.

it will move up to 70 cents at the very minimum....Maybe I should load more... See the below extract from Bloomberg news

The Macquarie fund typically buys majority or substantial interests in infrastructure businesses that allow it to gain influence or control over them.

“It’s a positive move as investors should now get the net asset value or a premium to NAV,” Sandy Mehta, chief executive officer of Value Investment Principals Ltd., said in a phone interview yesterday. “With the regular and special dividend, the payout should be between 6 cents and 8 cents.”

The asset sales could result in a payout of between 75 cents and 80 cents, he estimated. Mehta bought the Macquarie fund’s units this year,

Just sharing. Not sure how accurate.

Excess cash amounts to about S$60m – the S$6.9m remaining cash and S$26m trade and other receivables will be more than sufficient to cover corporate debt and operating expenses. The sale of stakes in HNE, CXP and MW can improve distributable cash by S$102m, S$140m and S$1m respectively. Total projected distributable cash amount will be around S$303m, or 26.2 S cents per share.
