Hi, I have vested interest in this counter and it recently declared dividend. Is dividends from REITs taxable?

 

The investment in Cambridge Industrial Trust (CIT) by Mitsui & Co. will provide the Singapore real estate investment trust with access to a pipeline of Mitsui and other Japanese assets here and in the region, the Business Times reported, citing Tetsuya Karasawa, the executive director of Cambridge Industrial Trust Management, the manager of CIT.

 

Can consider this counter for long position. Especially when next year if world economy is cooling down with maybe interest-rates halted or lowered, high-divendends counters will rules the market again.
