Yesterday 25-Apr-2013 (Thu) those sell down not because of the Q1 result.
Reason being those people chased stocks last Friday (19-Apr-2013) and have force sell yesterday.
There were 1,316 lots done at 0.445 and only 4 lots done at 0.450.
StatsChP will drop further next week. So sell now is better.
More over today is Friday. It will close lower by end of the day.
They are very smart. They already run away at 0.435 last Wednesday.
Those people who have bought it that day and have no power hold. They will force sell next Tuesday (30-Apr-2013).
So I suspect StatsChP will drop till 0.405 by then.

I dont think so.
The volume for the past  month is very low.Strong support at current price, 41.5/42cents.
The Q1 report is not that bad overall and do not see any reasons why they want to sell down.
Instead I see a potential spike going forward.
Sorry, correction done. Should be
24-Apr-2013 (Wednesday) Open 0.440 close 0.430
25-Apr-2013 (Thursday) Open 0.430 close 0.425
26-Apr-2013 (Friday) Open 0.425 expecting will close 0.420 worst 0.415 end of the day.
Big Boys will one-shot sell down 0.420 later.

Stay away from StatsChP. It will drop further.
I guess Big Boys will one-shot sell down at 0.420 later.
In view of TSMC’s upbeat results, we believe that STATS ChipPAC (UNRATED), which also concentrates in servicing wireless IC vendors such as Qualcomm, Broadcom, MediaTek and Spreadtrum, had under-guided its 1Q13 results. TSMC’s acceleration in adapting the 20/16nm technology matches our thesis that the demand for advanced level packaging such as wafer level packaging are coming through faster than what the market is anticipating. Given that STATS ChipPAC is arguably the leader in technology in the bank-end semiconductor manufacturing space, (ranked No.6 globally in IEEE 2012 Patent Power Scorecard) the outlook for the company is considerably brightened.

support at 415 and 410. Now trading 425. How far can it drop ? Results slightly better than expected for YOY. Given another 3 months when there will be more product launches during mid year, statschp books might pick up slightly.
Gap still not closed, resistance at 450. Unless statschp is going to go back to 3Q-4Q transistion again, otherwise I don't see any much downside. Can long but not contra.

No vested interest in this. I might load some later.
