Economy is very bad now. I heard quite a number of construction business are bidding at razor thin margins during tender offerings to gain contracts.
I like CNA for its waste-treatment plants though. I hope they list it in China or HK.

SINGAPORE
- CNA Group Ltd, an enabler of intelligent buildings said it has
secured new contracts in Vietnam worth $18 million (US$13 million)
which are expected to contribute to its FY2010 performance.
CNA added that its 51 per cent-owned subsidiary, HTE Vietnam Co Ltd has
clinched three multinational corporation contracts for interior fit
outs, signages, landscape works and facility management services in
Vietnam.
CNA also said in a separate statement that it has set up an outfit
in Bangkok, CNA Advance Pte Ltd, to concentrate on its airport
expertise in aviation technology design and implementation services.
CNA Advance was awarded US$315,000 worth of new operations and
maintenance contracts for Thailand's Suvarnabhum International Airport.

GOING
green in a big way is a recent trend. And while many are still paying
only lip service to it, Singapore-based CNA Group has been helping
clients put green info- communications technology (ICT) solutions into
practice.
It has been doing this for the past 20 years, says Lui Wing Sin,
general manager of CNA subsidiary GETC Asia. 'We strongly believe in
using advanced integrated ICT and automation technologies to simplify
and streamline building operations, enhance environmental quality and
trim energy expenditure,' he says.
CNA has put in place what Mr Lui claims to be the world's biggest
greenfield waste treatment plant at Changi Airport. It also has a hand
in the Changi Water Reclamation Plant and helped create the 'most
advanced digital hospital' in Singapore, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
'Our clients have benefited greatly from our green ICT
initiatives,' says Mr Lui. 'Many have gone on to win prestigious green
and energy awards, including the BCA Platinum Green Mark Award and
Asean Energy Efficiency Award.'
CNA, which started operating in 1990, provides turnkey integrated
ICT solutions for intelligent buildings, airports, hospitals, campuses,
and commercial and industrial facilities. It helps businesses reduce
capital investment through a converged information technology network
and optimisation of resources. It also reduces operating expenses by
beefing up energy performance and maintenance efficiency.
CNA is listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) and had a turnover of $100 million in 2008.
'We've exported our green ICT solutions to China, the Middle East,
India, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar and Malaysia,' Mr Lui says.
'One of our challenges is to find and train local staff to handle the
sophisticated ICT technologies we implement in large facilities. We
train our local employees by attaching our more experienced Singapore
employees to such overseas projects.' He points out that eco-cities -
built to minimise environmental impact in terms of land use, adoption
of renewable resources and recycling practices - are sprouting around
the world. There are growing markets for green ICT solutions in cities
in places such as China, India and the Middle East.
'We need to jump on the 'green' bandwagon. We cannot afford to miss
out on the opportunity to consolidate our strength in providing highly
integrated intelligent building solutions needed for high-performance
buildings and eco-cities. Our future success depends on our ability to
continuously craft innovative green ICT solutions for our clients and
build on our global green track record.'
But Singapore ICT players face numerous challenges in going green.
'It is sometimes not clear if a return on investment greater than three
years can justify the increased capital expenditure for going green,'
Mr Lui says.
Other barriers he lists include limitations to broadband rollout in
some countries and workforces in need of training on how to embrace
emerging technologies.

sad to say such a under value stock with not much BB interest......water company generating load of cash qtr after qtr...if list the water company will see this counter move up ....well if you caculate the profit generate last qtr at 3.8million (49.9%)...say 100% means at least7.8million rite.....if water company placement 300millionshare......EPS is 2.6cts per qtr....X4qtr eps .10.4cts...lets say each is place out at 60cts.....we have a PE of 5.77....reasonable PE rite ? than how much will CNA get.?? 149.7million shares X .60cts....89.million........woh....hehehe......base on this....at least each share will increase in value of 89.82million / 189million of CNA share.....47cts......hohoho....merry X'mas....if wat i think come true loh......

at lunch time vol is aredi this two month 3rd highest vol.....price move up without much resistance.....look set to go above 40cts liao....if vol still continue to move......have been in hibernation wake up liao?...hehehe...............report shld bee out this 2 days...if not wrong.....
