Of course no free lunch... people need to pay...

Even those materially-ambitious mega-pastors in the world will

want you to pay if you want to believe in them.

             hehehe... Smiley

Pl. bear in mind that there is no such thing as free lunch.

These financial analysts are paid by the financial instituitions,

why should they give you free advise. Upside, downside,

buy/sell call, TP and whatnots.

Many times many people are saying they lost money and sometimes they pok.  So how to play shares?  Shares are not for playing.  The guru does not play shares but teaches how to play shares. Just lioke the analysts, they don't play shares, they play you.  Hahaha

I have seen a few cycles of bull and bear.

The one that interest me most is panic selling.

Ppls just dump and dump their shares as if there

is no tomorrow.Very sorrowful indeed. Many go

"pok"and some even commit suicide.

I am greedy when ppls fear. The moral of the story

From what the forumers react here, we may know that a lot of ppl already stepped in this counters with higher price and big amount of shares on hands.  If the price no go up, a lot of ppl may "pok"!  The only hope is to wish other ppl to follow for buying in but will they???

Play football?  How much can win? I don't know how to play football.

Play shares.  How much should lose?  I don't know how to play shares, I think.  Everytime I buy, my borkerage will treat me like a sitting duck and throw darts at me until I bleed, and never give me a chance to make real ogod money. Wah cannot "tahan" already. Sigh.

I tot the forumers here have learnt lots of  strategies from the Seniors here to 'cut loss' or 'dont chase stock' and yet, it seems all the 'preaching' never helps?  lol!

Anyway, the 'shouting of high prices '  or  'buy calls'   are not meant to trap people .   Its like watching football when one shouts for his own winning team.   No one wants to hurt someone.   :)

current UK casino business book value is S$688.8m - S$103m = S$585.8m in UK book based on current exchange rate

S$338.8m exchange loss is due to higher UK pound rate paid for earlier on the UK casino business.

Total Investments paid at higher exchange rate earlier (S$585.8m + S$338.8m) = S$924.6m

S$338.8m  will represent future profit for GENTiNG MALAYSIA when the UK pound exchange recovers.

For GENTiNG Singapore S$338.8m is a nOn-cash translation lOss because the CASH was already PAID earlier.

For GENTiNG Singapore, net  loss on this deal is S$338.8m - S$103m = S$235.8m.

S$235.8m allows GENTiNG Singapore to get rid of the UK baggage to move forward without any more UK concerns.

It is a WiN-WiN deal for both GENTiNG Singapore and Malaysia.

GENTiNG MALAYSiA can reap S$338.8m nOn-cash translatiOn prOfit when UK pOund recOvers.  Profit will be realised in cash only if GENTiNG MALAYSiA sell the business by then.
