Unless you are a trader, use the ratio (NAV, PE ... ) as a indicative to buy. Its now a buyer's market in a bearish sessions.
If you are not aware, this is not the first time.
Think this is the 2nd or 3rd time for the past few mths.
DBS price is now worst than UOB :(

($19.10) ? nearly visited its $18.70 Aug 17 low, touching $18.90. If $18.70
breaks next support at $18.10-20. Rebounded to $21.40 which will be tougher to
repeat this round as resistance will be around $20.50-80. Extra care needed as
the stock a key barometer of banking sector seems the weakest among the 3
banks.

Yup, just park your money away from DBS. Exposure to Sub-prime will affect its earnings.

DBS has injected an unspecified amount of liquidity into a special-purpose vehicle named Red Orchid Secured Assets (ROSA) which has exposure to CDOs.
- ROSA issues commercial paper to meet interest payments on 1.1 billion Singapore dollars of CDOs.

Actually hor... DBS share price has been falling since mid July liao - BEFORE the subprime problem hit the news.
yeah, just realise the same...like you mentioned earlier, patience will pay off...think it may drop further, people just don't care what analysts' call for buy for this and other banking counters...need to consider carefully if you wish to sell by end this week 'cos there is no trading in US next Mon...

yeah, think if it hits lower, can consider using cpf money to buy...quite confident that it will definitely give more than 4% returns when my retirement comes
