baseerahmed, second try on your second method:   

as usual upload on mediafire, tehn when completely verified, screen popup, go and click "view full image", your uploaded image will show up, now bring mouse to this image, right click to view property and copy the location, or just select copy image location so that you get the URL

now come to this SJ forum, click the button Inser/Modify button, copy the URL, click preview, when the picture show up, bingo...

below is my trial, image is below, hope this help.


 

 

prior to this, I used to look at the forex charts in www.livecharts.co.uk

they are pretty good too

Jade mgmt: We have no idea why. There is nothing out of the ordinary, and top shareholders have not been trading.

currently hovering around 1.9600(fibo38.2 region) and thinks trendline support is at 1.9555... with upside going by stocs

not an inducement ... just an observation ... caveat emptor ...

Paper Trading on GBPUSD 1Hr Chart based purely on TA

080208Fri

'Buy' : 1.9449

'Stop Loss' : 1.9370

'Target' : 1.9661(fibo50)

Loss vs Gain  : -79 vs +212

After getting ' confident ' of trendline, moved 'stop loss' last night 120802Tue to 1.9464 .. but .. just few hrs later ..wham ! .. got hit ! ... but with 'consolation prize ' of 15pips ...

after hitting the 'stop loss' .. the market happily moved to 1.9610 in about 5hrs .. with a gain of 146 pips !..

well ... this is normal ...isn't it ? hahaha ... when u least expect it ..it happens .. while ur back is turned away ... hahaha ! ..

ok ..back to another paper trading ..hahaha !

(would appreciate if sifu's could impart insights/thoughts on the above approach .. : ) )

harryp, that's what i did/tried last night  ..meaning ... pasted the mediafire url into the "insert/modify image" function .. and clicked on the "preview" .. didn't see the chart i intended to paste ...

perhaps .. those who have done pasting charts (from their pc) to SJ could help .. : )

( was feeling  a bit excited and a bit defeated while paper trading on forex ... thought could share the 'feeling' on SJ but now a bit sober ...yah,  what haven't u veterans seen in the market ...hahaha ! .. but anyway does not hurt to know how to paste charts here, right ? ... ; ) ..hahaha ! )

Copy and paste and paste url will not work. Must load it through the forum board "insert/modify image" function. Click on the 2nd button to the right after the smily button and follow the loading instructions... :))

how does one paste a picture /diagram from one's computer (.bmp file) on SJ .

had tried the followings :

1. normal copy/ paste did not work

2. uploading to mediafire and paste url ... does not  seem to work .. (maybe did not do it the right way ...)

haven't been much on SJ except for some threads on the counters i'm watching. have been busy clearing up work and all. am leaving my workplace end this mth. so will see how it goes after that. chinese new year has been busy too. oof.
