longing and shorting (buying or selling) are
equally dangerous.
Thus, it is best for newbies to try out this advice:-
"Do not play stocks".
But few will listen, of course!...
sell some to lock in profit, keep some. personally think that the price could go further, impressive volume transacted today tells us that more things could be revealed soon

Genting Singapore: 2Q10 results show Quantum Leap
Summary: Genting Singapore (GS) reported a 2Q10 core net profit of S$396.6m, versus a net loss of S$43.1m in 2Q09; it was also 633.4% higher than 1Q10 as the results now reflected a full quarter of contribution from Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), which also managed to secure higher-than-industry win factor throughout the quarter. Outlook for RWS remains upbeat as management believes there are still untapped markets to secure visitors to the integrated resort; also does not believe it will be done at the expense of Marina Bay Sands or other markets such as Macau. Indeed, GS intends to extend its marketing and promotion to markets further afield; this after getting what it called “surprisingly good” response to its efforts in India. In view of the outstanding 2Q10 results and the upbeat outlook for the Singapore gaming market, we raise our FY10 revenue by 59.8% and earnings by 417.6%. This in turn raises our DCF-based fair value from S$1.34 to S$1.66. Maintain BUY. (Carey Wong)
