SPH is a near monopoly in the media industry in Singapore. If you are into dividend play, this counter is really really cheap now.
SPH should get some rebound soon next week.. if they are not able to hold at current level, it will move further down..
I believe US's side will have some good news next wk which will send this counter for some relieve.
SPH seems to be trending up slowly linearly. Watch out for gap resistance at around 3.8

SPH is celebrating its 25th Anniversary Next year. There mmight be high possibility of them having a special high dividend payout. In addition, i notice from their lastetst annual report that the cash suddenly shoot up ard 100 million sia.
Wat AK opines that, for those new entry, avoid ds counter. For those bought it earlier, sell in strength is a better option.

Moved up 16 cents already because of dividends. Cheers to those vested! 
Its lowest lately was 3.14. Just think cautiously.

At current situation, div pay out is likely unable to maneuver the stock price liao.
Ie looking at SIA, DBS(owing to Sands issue) etc. Moreover its XD is on
9 Dec.Anything can be happened ahead.

Cash or CPF payouts depends on how you make your purchase with. If you purchase the share with cash, then the payout will be cash and the same goes for CPF.
