1.80 TP? abit hard lah.... mayb hit 1.4~1.5

1.8 mayb next year oct then possible
Important to note that biosensors has solid fundamentals:   no debt , large cash balance, hi net margin of 35%, strong mkt share with continued growth in key geographies and strong cash flow.
Company is at least 4 years ahead of its competitors with its offering of the ' gold standard 'drug eluting stent .
At current levels stock is very undervalued   and as a result the company launched a buyback program mandated for a maximum of172m shares .
Thus far Nomura has maintained a 1.80 price target which based on numbers and prospect for the company does not look demanding.

Hi tea,
Bishan has mentioned the tgt 116   . Today closed 112.5 . company buy back at 1.1007 which could form the logical support at 1.10.   1.12 was the resistant which broke near closing.   112 likely to be resistance turned support.
Buy at support sell at resistance.   Need to watch tomorrow price and volume action as it has turned from near bottom and broke first resistance .......... perhaps buying when it pullback would be a strategy. Buying when it is rallying up only if the market sentiment for tomorrow is good. Remember that many bought today and might take profit tomorrow.

Wow, suddenly come alive again and running up, buy some!
first timee i see 0.015 growth..... more to come!!!
Maybe if it dropped to $1.02 to 41.05 then buy more but now $1.08 can accumulate slowly..by Jan 1 all fiscal cliff problems will surely be solved..at the rate Biosensor is buying back its stocks, means more of its shares taken off the market,it takes an impetus b4 buyers appear in droves to drive up the stock again..next accounting figures will show EPS up at expoential rate as treasury shares normally excluded in such calculations

Hi scimitar, dont buy yet until there's clear sign of demand for this stock.
Generally for all mkts, as the earning season comes to an end, and  funds start to unwind their position and go on year end holidays, the mkts will get very quiet.  We should  take a break too after this week, and come  back to the mkt after Christmas. Without any news or catalyst,  bios will  likely remain weak and range around this level. Hopefully it'll bounce back in Jan in expectation for the next earnings season.

Nomura tips Singapore equities face a subdued 2013 outlook, forecasting single-digit returns as economic restructuring drags earnings and as a sharp property-market pullback could undermine returns.

It views consensus estimates for 11% FY13 market EPS growth as too optimistic. But it adds, the market is “not expensive” at 1.4x FY13 book value vs its 1.7x long-term average and at 12.5x FY13 P/E vs its 12x-18x 15-year range.
“We are Bullish on conglomerates as we see the sector generating steady earnings growth that can support dividends. We are Bearish on gaming, given the strict policy regime, while developers are likely to underperform as fundamentals deteriorate. We are Neutral on banks on valuation grounds, while telcos and S-REITs are supported by dividend yields.”

It tips companies generating more earnings overseas than domestically and with defensive dividend yields, favouring Keppel (BN4.SG), Sembcorp (U96.SG) and ST Engineering (S63.SG). It likes Jardine Matheson (J36.SG), noting mostly ex-Singapore earnings.

It likes SATS’ (S58.SG) and ComfortDelGro’s (C52.SG) steady earnings and yields. It tips DBS (D05.SG) and Keppel Land (K17.SG) for attractive valuations and North Asia optionality.

Among cyclicals, it prefers First Resources (EB5.SG) on Nomura’s positive CPO-price outlook, and likes Bumitama (P8Z.SG). Among S-REITs, it tips Ascendas Hospitality Trust (Q1P.SG), with Biosensors (B20.SG) its healthcare pick.

Ok, wait one more month for next earning season. Let's hope it jumps to 1.65.
