yes selling a portion of your holding to lock in profit does have a calming effect and hence can make better judgement for the rest of the holding.
Or you can have a running goal post (running sell price target), sell when price dropped by a certain % from the high. what % .. u decides.

bro, i have queued my sell order there this morning.....lol.....but usually it will overshoot 1-2 bids if it does attempt to break the resistance......cheers
