If STO eu decides to cut and dumps all their holdings @1.33, It Govt Co may delist it soon.
it can also go the other way too...what happened if it succeeded in taking coy private.
The price will tanked to 1.22.

New management may not giving high div, which would force selling down.
Another uncertain factor is It Govt may delist it after later.

those who bought $1.245,happy liao..recovering..I hve been advocating since it was first listed in Oct 2010..bought all the way from 80cts to 1.50..fat dividends all received,even if takeover compulsory at 1.22 will not lose too,unlikley the Italian co can get > 90% so quite safe..by the time results out U can get liao results out on 26Feb..

italians should be trimming back dividends to improve STX cash flow, but this i think this is in line with improving long term valuation.
price should trade in the 1.30-1.34 range until results give it more reason to rise
Earning will be more relevant. Lower dividend should be expected as to reinvest the dividend back to the company for better growth. Otherwise, it's hard to grow the company. In the past, Stx Pan Ocean tried to boast up share price by giving out all the earnings of STX OSV.

but punters.. think and look at the chart twice before u jump in..
With the backing of the Italian Mothership, potential clients will definitely have more confidence to award more of their contracts to STX OSV!

Full year result out next Tues. Wonder if little/no dividend will be declared? If so, price may pull back again?

some nibbling of 1.325 already started.

then less seller, I do not see any problem of reaching 1.4 this week!
