The Board of Directors of Ezra Holdings Limited ("Ezra") wishes to announce that DP Polar Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Ezra, has been incorporated in Singapore with a paid-up and issued share capital of USD1.00, comprising 1 ordinary share of USD1.00 each. |
sorry to ask but usually when this kinda news pops out then is the share price gonna drop or rise?
The Board of Directors of Ezra Holdings Limited (“Ezra”) wishes to announce that Emas Offshore Services (NZ) Pty Limited has been incorporated in New Zealand with an issued and paid-up capital of US$2, comprising 2 shares of US$1 each. These 2 shares are held by Ezra and Emas Offshore Services (NZ) Pty Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Ezra.
Ezra probably will range bound for a while before the significant breakout.

You're all most welcome. Thanks for visiting too! I shall be monitoring Ezra's business and Balance Sheet/Cash Flows post-acquisition. If there's any other thoughts from me I will post them here.
Happy Investing and remember - Margin of Safety! :D
Note: Not Vested in Ezra.

Dear all, I have posted up an analysis of Ezra's FY 2010 results as well as given some views on their proposed acquisitions on my blog at http://sgmusicwhiz.blogspot.com. Please feel free to visit and comment, thanks!
Note: I am NOT vested.
A snippet as follows:-
"Offshore support services’ gross margin fell from 38% to 35%, while deepwater subsea services’ gross margin fell significantly from 13% to a mere 3%. Fortunately for Ezra, deepwater subsea only took up 6% of FY 2010’s revenue, as compared to 14% for FY 2009; otherwise the impact to overall gross margins would have been more striking."

Guess i will continue to monitor it .....Thks for the reply...one more thing i learnt today....

Hi craized. it is very normal for the shares of a company to drop especially when the company is the acquirer, and the share of the acquiree to go up (usually by large percentages). In this case, Ezra acquires Aker Solutions ASA and therefore what you're seeing is a very normal flow of stock exchanges. Be patient and time will kick in the value of this stock.
wasn't expecting ezra to drop this morning...thought the annoucements it made on its profits and acquisition are good news?...am i wrong?
Any experts care to share their insights....me still trying to learn the ropes of investing... :)
edwinteo: Thanks ..
musicwhiz5, oh. thanks, do update us soon and will be looking forward to your analysis. I am deciding on wether to hold long or short term.
Dividend will only be paid once it is approved by shareholders at the upcoming AGM (usually held in Dec).
I am currently working on an analysis of Ezra's FY 2010 results, as well as my views on their acquisitions. I will post this up on my blog once it is done, so watch out for it.
Note: I am an ex-shareholder of Ezra from 2006 till 2009 (October). Am no longer vested, but studying the Company's business as part of my learning philosophy pertaining to value investing.
Cheers.
