3000lots vested and alot (can consider as one of d BBs), dumping it is even more unwise at this point in times thou..in this unstable mkt, been oredi name with whatever name, it is even harder to come out with a more useful comment, however throu.. personnnal my own experience, dumping all in one go, it can only produce a very negative signal to the mkt, what usually BBs does is they let go few hundred lots or a million shares when mkt going is good, not necessary when mkt ST index hit a high, in this case study, EG: Genting, it recent high is 0.90c plus. Good time will come and it can visit 0.90c plus again.

Acting in good faith. Lighten ur heavy stake at one go, does not make travel easier after tired out on a a long travel journey and plunging into yet..and/or entering into another pit with full of punters.

However let been know to keen vested forumers here, U have let go, at least those are ur decision, ur $$$. So far not necessary the best yet, till some1 (better) arrive to elaborate and make comment more interesting and make more impact into this highly charge scence.

Hope again no additional name calling, just sharing my tot.

Hi humulus, i agree with shplayer that dumping your proceeds immediately doesnt sound very wise though.....as for cutting loss, thats one of the trading rules, but still its your money and your decision. wish you all the best.

Dear Folk

Share is like buy big or buy small, buy big open big you win but open small you lose. Nobody should blame any body if you wish to listen to him or her.

Only thing I can see genting share shoot up is to finish investigation soonest and that the board of director is clear from a relationship with Uncle HO and other negative matters if any.

Any comment????

Humulus,

The decsion to cut loss is totally yours.....hopefully its after you've analysed your position and come to the conclusion to cut loss.

However, to immediately use the proceeds to reinvest to 'make a big bang' may be 'jumping out of the frying pan into the fire'. Do make your stock selection and time your entry carefully.

The stock market is not the same as Big Sweep or 4-D or ToTo where winning is purely by chance.

In the stock market, you can substantially improve your chance of winning if you do the necessary ground work and time your entry and exit well.

Wishing you all the best.

Dear Hulumas...

If I understand you correctly, do you mean to say you are thinking of selling  some of the what you've bought earlier because the price outcome is not as favourable as you expected?

I don't think anyone here is in a position to 'give you advice'.

I only sincerely wish, for your sake, that the market will turn around and then the tide rises in your favour.

It take another two/three round of good news and usually such news will come after a few stormy session. "there is always sunshine :) after a heavy storm" meanwhile coming wk, expecting another volatile trading week patten due to the recent last technical fall, (for info 3.3 trillion is lost worls wide) and ppl's is very cautious about putting more $$$ in stocks trading as can see from the traded volume.

Dear Readers,

How about I 'll immediately take these proceeds to buy all in one go to make a big bang, ( just a big bet, as the share itself implies a bet stock in its nature) so, how about it???

Some more news from Yahoo, hope it help genting counter regarding ban on granite and sand. Once the issues are resolved, we should consider seriously to buy sand from our neighbor even though the price is slightly higher just to help their economy.

Singapore, Indonesia to step up extradition talks

SINGAPORE: Singapore and Indonesia have agreed to set a date for ministers and military officials to discuss an extradition treaty and defence cooperation pact, the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Foreign Minister George Yeo met his Indonesian counterpart Hassan Wirajuda on the sidelines of a meeting between the European Union and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Germany, it said late Thursday.

Singapore and Indonesia are members of the 10-nation ASEAN bloc.

They have been at odds over Indonesian resource exports to Singapore as well as alleged foot-dragging by Singapore on an extradition treaty that would allow Jakarta to recover allegedly illicit assets of Indonesians in the city-state.

"On joint negotiations to conclude the Extradition Treaty and the Defence Cooperation Agreement, both ministers agreed to set an early date for the foreign and defence ministers to meet together with representatives from the armed forces," the statement said.

The statement also said the Indonesian minister clarified that Jakarta was not considering a proposal to ban granite exports to Singapore, whose recovering construction industry depends heavily on imported materials.

Indonesian media have cited Hassan and other ministers as saying the government was mulling a ban on granite exports.

Jakarta already banned the export of sand to Singapore in January, saying it was intended to protect the environment, although critics say the move was aimed at pressuring the city-state into signing an extradition treaty.

A number of suspects wanted in Indonesia on corruption charges have fled to Singapore to escape the reach of Indonesian justice, officials in Jakarta allege. - AFP/yy

FOREX-Dollar pares losses after US economic data

(Adds quote, updates prices)

NEW YORK, March 16 (Reuters) - The dollar fell broadly on Friday but pared losses after reports showed growth in U.S. factory output exceeded expectations while consumer inflation was tame in February, dampening concerns about the slowing U.S. economy.

The (industrial production) numbers are a bit stronger than we were expecting, but we were pretty overextended on selling the dollar off overnight," said Jake Lee, interbank trader with Union Bank of California in Los Angeles.

The dollar edged up against the yen, trading at about 116.93 yen, up from 116.75 yen, where it was shortly before the data. The greenback was still down 0.5 percent from late on Thursday.

The euro slipped against the dollar, trading at $1.3317, down from $1.3225. The European currency was up 0.6 percent on the day.

Overnight, the dollar had been selling off on growing concern that U.S. economic growth is slowing more quickly than expected and that the subprime mortgage crisis could spread to other parts of the housing sector.

The usa after hour futures (Nasdaq, SP and Dow) is in red the whole day and affect genting and global market share. The futures is in red pending for consumer confident market index to be release soon. For genting, the share is at it bottom 0.810 ~ 0.815 and overall volume is overbought today. Usually when the share is over bought, it should not be at the lowest closing price. If it close at the bottom, this show that someone is accummulating the share slowly and waiting for good news.
