No dividend policy? I think Genting SP should have been shot down the last two years (oops i forgot recently they finally gave a token as dividend Smiley).. But it didn't..

Perhaps the selling now are those retail investors who held at high prices and are now too scared with the big slump in price, and just want to exit as high as it can get.

let's see what's their target price... for me, I've no fixed TP, will decide as the price goes along. For now, above 1.2.

Mayb the traders way to protest no divd policy??? Cos smrt driver way is illegal.... Those who sold, sold it at a lose i believe..... Unless the held it for years..... What's everyones TP on this counter? I hope another buy back today then can strongly say 1.14 is the final value of the company set by the coy... And whats the NAV?

I also thought it's quite attractive to investors.. not sure who's selling and the reasons doesn't seem compelling.. somemore the most recent quarter their net income rose yoy.

Apparently the decline started in July because of concerns over its revenue (see below). But now the price has corrected so much lower that it has much more value than before. As at Sep 2012, its NAV for group is US  68.81 cents, for company is US 44.22 cents. I think the decline was because it didn't meet people's expectations of growth (they could have expected much more!), despite net profit rose 23% yoy for the quarter ended in Sep 2012.

--------------

Shares of Biosensors International fell as much as 5.5% to a 20-month low, which OCBC Investment Research attributed to ongoing concerns over the impact of mandatory price cuts in stents in countries including India, China and Japan.

By 12:36 p.m., Biosensors shares were down 2.8% at $1.055 with 6.8 million shares traded, 1.5 times its average daily volume over the last five sessions. Its shares have plunged 26% since the start of the year, compared with the 25.4% rise in the FTSE ST Mid Cap Index.

OCBC noted that Terumo Corp, which licenses Biosensors’ drug-eluting stent technology for a royalty fee, said sales of one of its Nobori drug-eluting stent in Japan were hurt by an official price cut by the National Health Insurance and rising competition from new product launches.

This would affect Biosensors’ licensing revenues in the second quarter ended September, OCBC said. Biosensors is reporting its second quarter results on Nov. 7.

PE at 13 and price to book value at only 1.3? Wow, that's very cheap for such a profitable cash rich, no debt, high growth company. What's the matter with the Singapore market? Not experienced in investing? Only day traders? Smiley 126

Once the company announced buyback program, it looks like they will accumulate every day . The qty small yesterday probably because sellers at this level have retreated.
company is possible takeover target and if this happens , in the best case can be liken to an F&N scenerio.

there has been speculation of a buy over since 2010.. but if there's really one, that's bonus for those who just bought in.. a possibility..
anyway let's see how it goes tmr.. hopefully their TP has not reach yet..
