Genting Singapore Plc (GENS SP), owner of one of two casino resorts in the city-state, increased 3.8% to $1.66, its highest close on record. Macquarie Group raised its share- price forecast to $2.10 from $1.60 and maintained its “outperform” rating.
BT sifu, is it wise to buy now and sell if it reached 1.70? Thought of paying shorting. ;) Thanks for the advice.

Genting Bhd., Asia’s third-biggest casino operator, rose to a record after Macquarie Group increased its 2011 earnings forecast for the company’s Singapore unit, citing higher margin assumptions.
Shares of Genting climbed 4% to 9.40 ringgit ($4.05) at 3:40 p.m. local time in Kuala Lumpur trading. Macquarie raised its 2011 EBITDA forecast for Genting Singapore Plc by 23%, Macquarie said in a report dated Aug. 27. |

Use your CHARM to charm the pretty girls there, see if they can give you 50% discount from the Levy fee .
No way government will impose more rules on Casinos like that of Property.
The worst impact of today's news is those who are private property owners and are looking to buy resale flats. How on earth is this going to work? They have to sell their property within 6 motnhs on buying a resale HDB Flat ??? Can they make it in time to sell their private property? What if they cant sell off their private?
The best choice is DONT buy private property for one looses out lots of benefits...like those 'Ang Pow' government give out most are those staying in 3 rooms or 4 room flats owners............
Unless have extra money to buy , if not, buying Private property is like digging own grave's yard.. Quite a number of people i know already put off the idea buying private property becos of the many restrictions.

Yes this chart, tells you that at times GentingSP has the same trend as STI, at other times, it may go in the opposite direction as STI. But still, we should still keep track of STI to know where the general market is going.
