You deserve to be Grandmaster... :)
Why?
Because you sold...
Only goondoos will invest and hold and hold and hold any stock forever until the cows come home... hehehe...

I invested in Raffles earlier this year and averaged down till 41ct. I still saw my stock tumbled to 25.5 cents in the aftermath of the Oriental Century Scandal but I held on as the CEO was buying millions of shares for himself. Eventually it rebounded to reach a high of 70cts. I took profit at 65 cents since it was fairly valued based on FA and the CEO had stopped buying at 54 cents.
The downtrend now reminds me of REC 1 month prior the announcement of Oriental Century scandal. I am most likely wrong, but I won't be surprised if another negative development is taking place as we speak. The main difference between March and now is that the CEO ain't buying shares..
Hi smilepiyo ,
My comments are purely base on TA , very often , when the FA of a counter has changed , it would reflect on its chart (TA) . If the market is not in its bearish situation , then there must be some things wrong with this counter , further more , its huge volume sold down may also have the hints .If u r going in to take up long positions , pls place your stop-loss protection .
Bintang .

So, is raffles edu worth keeping for mid term? Is there any bad news coming up ? Out of sudden, the price of this stock plunge so much. Based on the trend chart, it only went downtrend in Mar '09. Does it means that raffles is a gone case now? :P sorri for my ignorance, cos i m pretty new to stocks, a novice whom requires guidance & advices from u guys. Pls enlighten.

i think the odds of winning in casino is even lower than 50/50...it's 10/90? haha
Put it this way...
If let's say in a 2 year period, you can be reasonably sure of winning in the stock market, then it is worth your time and money playing.
If the odds are 50/50, then won't it be better to go to the casino?
or go into into some better business?...

Only goondoos will think that one side (of ordinary stock players) always wins and one side will always loose...
Stocks go up and down 'by themselves'...
Thus, as I always said. "Not Losing Is Already Winning"... hehehe...

That is the interesting thing, no matter sell down or buy up, you need a buyer and seller at the same time .... some theory states that because of this, the expected change is actually 0.

Raffles went up a mountain and now dropping down the cliff. If there's any textbook stock on the rise and fall of a stock, this is going to be it.
So the "timing thingy" come into this counter in order not to lose your money.

Raffles Education has 15.6% of that. I seriously think Raffles Education has Solid Future :)
They expand during the down turn :) Business model is great.
Any university or business will have issue and complications and it depends how they resolved it.
Going Long for this now :) Hope it will Hit $1.00 one day
The answer is simple: nobody knows what will happen tomorrow, only time will tell if you are on the right side.
You mean it could go up as much as it goes down? So if you buy it is dangerous and if you sell it is also dangerous? How can? Sure one side must win right? .?=?.

At any time, or at any stage, buying or selling is equally dangerous... hehehe...

Used to be my favourite stock. There could be some bad news which we have not made known yet.
AVG TP from most FI is $0.61 and lowest is $0.51
Should be ok :) go long

RafflesEdu took only one month to fall from 48 cents to 36 cents today , the fundamental of this counter may have changed ?

Finally RafflesEdu broke the critical support at 38.5 cents with huge volume , by measuring the width of its downtrend channel , it may go to as low as 29 cents technically , n that is also filling the gap at 34 cents .
