If u look @ MGM Resorts Int'l, their debts is about 12.3 billions US dollar. It still attract investors...

Same stories as STX Pan Ocean when they held their ipo in 2005 at $1.27c initially.

Finally it also price below a dollar due to London bus bombing if i am not wrong.

This time, i dun know why they price at lower end at 0.79c ?

Go IPO is to raise capital, raise capital keep in bank? of course not, to pay off debts la or buy assets. Nothing unusual.

do you mean the 800 million debt to pay back to the shareholders, like the way China MinZhong IPO is to also pay back shareholders?

The only draw back is, like any company offering ipo - for eg S-chip base. It has it pro and con.
This one is based, it Headquartered is in Norway (teeth53 thot - value added yard, sort of high product).
Norway: 1,650 employees
• 5 yards
Romania: 5,142 employees
• 2 yards
Brazil: 1,536 employees
• 1 yard
• 1 yard under development
Vietnam: 650 employees
• 1 yard, and
Singapore: 4 employees
• 1 sales office

traded at $2.82 on S'pore bourses, that about 30x it PE Ratio. (estimated at that point in time)

The firm is the second offering STX unit to list in Singapore. Offering 180m new shares and 145.6m existing shares, with 16m available to public.

 

The offer opend today Nov 5, 2010, closes at noon on Nov 10, 2010 (Wed). Trading is expected to start on Nov 12, 2010 (Friday - 09:00 am)
