They are water connectors to interconnect all the main waterbodies around our Island. These connectors can have smaller side-branches like water paths (for kids to play; paper boats! no problem.)
You can bring your power boat to the main waterbodies via these connectors. Once there, you can ski all you want. Main waterbodies include Reservoirs/Lakes/Basins like Marina Bay, Pierre, MacRitchie, Seletar, Ponyan, Sarimbun, Sembawang, Punggol, Jurong, Kallang, Pengjuru, Ubin, Tekong, many more.... will never get bored with so many choices. (One catch, your power boat must be environmentally friendly to operate, just like sampan. No pollution allowed, electrically powered or wind powered acceptable.)
why worry about flood. every crisis is an opportunity in chinese. just have to turn a seemingly bad situation, good.. . yeahoh!

Beautiful! But , cant do water skiing, can only play Paper Boats. hahaha!
Next time, couples can send message thru the paper boats indicating their names, boyfriends from Yishun can send paper boats with love messaages to girl friends at china town.

Yah man, then our properties would sky rocket. Our car coes can be scrapped because no more reason for traffic congestion. Our share maket should also spike since this kind of waterway systems attracts tourists and investments. Hahaha. |

Seems like the billions of dollar "human created disaster" coming again. Maybe we do not have natural disaster like most countries, that's why we need to create one so that the country can start to allocate disaster budget... I think the country "should" have saved up a lot of money all these year since country do not need to spend billions on disaster yearly... I hope.... lol.... |

Would be fantastic to have many concentric water ways/bodies connected by water paths (like niuyear's idea). That way, at least 50% of residential homes can enjoy waterfront living. Instead of letting the fresh rain water go to waste, we can capture and store them for recreational and transport purposes. Residents can have their own sampans to pedal from say, Punggol to Jurong Lake, etc. What more, it's environmental friendly - like cycling. We could even have water markets like those in Thailand. Not bad- yeahoh! |

You maybe right... the underground fund are located underground... so flood must have destroyed their computer and network to trade... lol...
Has the recent floods keeping the big shots busy moving houses, shops. No time to play stocks.

The Chines accent bus-driver, take a wrong turn and end up at Kembangan, then he ask everyone in the bus, can anyone help him and guide him back the correct path. End up, I stand beside him and escort him back to Up Changi road. LOL. They are all foreign talent ! Ha HA HAAA, Foreign Talent, and end up Foreign Tulan, a lot of us end up late in off ? LOL Same as some Train company CEO, commented the same non-sense that the train are not pack enough, it is individual's decision, whether he or she or whatsoever, want or don't want to board the train. What non-sense comment from someone who did not take train during peak hrs ( i meant everyday), if she dare, take everyday and try and do the walk the talk as an good example! All hypo- hypopo hyppotamas - hypocrate (maybe spell wrongly, go check OrFox dictionary) Ha Ha Ha LOL. All say one thing and do another thing, just like all analyst reports on share !!! |

Our garment must always have the suspicious mind on 'where are those 'SUPPLYs' coming from when building and contructions are concerned.!
1) labour supply - foreigners are not taking english instruction propertl cos of poor understanding and communications
2) Raw materials supply - be it using on the building of roads or track or 'blocks of buildings' , the supply of sands and other materials, are not to be taken lightly.

After SEPNDING BiLLIONS on FLOODS CONTROL,
PUB still has NOT becOme an EXPERT ? ? ? ?
(Ooh, were the EXPERTS SACKED and RETIRED ? ? ? ?)
Are the PAP [PM and Parliament]
REALLY EXPERT in FLOODS CONTROL ? ? ? ?
Are they just Guessing (THEORiES only) and
playing GAMES (Trials & Errors) with the FLOODS ? ? ? ?

After spending billions of dollar on the flood control for the so many years, the flood still happen like those olden days. And worse, the PUB do not actually know what is real reason, and even worse by pushing the blame to the global warming. Who should be responisible for these? hmmm... |

Which is more critical and beneficial to singapore as a whole? That is to dig more HOLES aka WATER PATHS.
Definitely not building something not necessary at this moment. If building cycling tracks just to please those nationalities from China who are staying here or those fanatics who loves cycling in singapore, this is not going to work!
The lates slogan for National Day : DIG and DIG, not Pile on and Pile on
P/s - If water paths never work or never serve its purpose after testing them for few years, then , cover them back to use as Cycling tracks!!

Conclusion to the Flood :
STOP BUILDING UNNECESSARY TRACKS FOR CYCLING PURPOSE, BUT , TO CARRY ON THE MASTER PLAN 2008 .i.e. TO HAVE THE WATER BODIES RUN THRU THE ESTATES (like those of the connecting parks ) to CONTAIN RAIN WATER !!! |

My friend complained that his condo's toilet choked. It was a new condo when he moved in few years ago!
Later, he got someone to take off the whole toilet bowl, to his astonishment , he found that in side the toilet bowl, there is whole log of SANDS in it!!
The condo management then got the worker to clear those debris and the chokage problem was being solved.
Condo management told my friend, it was the Bangladshi workers who did the toilet job during the construtions.
What do we learn from this ? Could that forienger take the instruction wrongly ?? or mere laziness that he lazy to throw out the sands but, conveniently throw them back into the toilet bowl??
