If you quoted the price of 95cts, I will be almost happy. But I still feel all this takes time because TA is very cautious to stay at 78cts level. Why! Reason is that other analysts are not convinced about TA growth prospect, they given negative feedback. I read news that Tiger Australia is increasing fly within Australia. So whether ACCC approved or not on Virgin Australia, I believe Tiger still FLY, FLY, FLY.

TigerAirways -  January operating statistics validate our view on an upcoming turnaround. Maintain BUY with S$0.95 TP. - DBSV
Tiger Airways flew a total of 664,000 passengers in January, a 42 per cent increase from 466,000 a year earlier. The budget carrier on Monday reported a 34 per cent increase in January traffic to 1.01 billion revenue passenger-kilometres, while capacity rose 20 per cent to 1.2 billion available seat-kilometres. Consequently, overall passenger load factor improved 8 percentage points to 84 per cent from a year ago. Tiger Singapore saw its passenger load factor increase 10 percentage points to 84 per cent, on a 23 per cent growth in revenue passenger-kilometre which outpaced the 8 per cent increase in capacity
Everyone needs to survive. TIGERAIR, GO GO GO!!! I will support you wherever place you fly.

Ya especially with all the hindrances and protectionist moverment in Australia, and the stiff competition from other budget airlines... Tiger will be tamed for quite some time to come.

In my opinion.if the ACCC does not approve of TA divestment to VA, then I envisage that TA will shut down.(Tiger needs to bite the bullet and bye Australia)Then Qantas and jet star will be in monopoly of the Domestic aviation sector... NOT GOOD FOR THE AUSTRALIANS CONSUMERS.
Therefore, I believe the ACCC WOULD HAVE TO APPROVE THE TA DIVESTMENT TO VA.
I do not agree with CITI analysis... a piece of crap recommendation.i am vested in Tiger.

TigerAir - Alert: Is Tiger Australia’s Existence Hanging in the Balance? - SELL - TP $0.46 - CITI
ACCC should see AV buying 60% of Tiger Australia a challenge. Both airlines Tiger Australia and Qantas will improve their services, it's a competition where both parties will work effectively and improvement. Tiger Australia can't bet with Qantas, it's losses has been widened this year, unless Qantas Jetsatr fares badly. There's a saying: " No competitor, no game."

If the ACCC does not approve of the divestment of Tiger Australia to Virgin, I strongly suggest Tiger Australia be shut down. Why keep a losing TA and creating jobs for the Australian!Tiger could move some planes to its partner in Asia- Philipines and Indonesia or add more routes in TS.
DJ Virgin, Tiger Australia Deal Cleared By Tiger Shareholders.
[SINGAPORE] The Australian competition regulators will make a pronouncement on Virgin Australia's (VA) planned takeover of Tiger Australia on Feb 7.
But the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) may not make a final determination on the case next week.
While it could give its nod, or block the deal for VA to buy 60 per cent of Tiger Australia next week, industry insiders reckon that - based on past practices - the most likely outcome will be a Statement of Issue, which is effectively a ''maybe''.
This is usually the case as the ACCC seeks more details, clarification and opinions before making its final ruling on the A$35 million (S$45 million) deal. It could also seek more concession from the two primary players for the benefit of consumers.
Market call.

Buy Tiger, of course.   They are selling some investments in Australia, good sign I believe since this will give them cash for business and expansion if there are other opportunities.
Mr Hulumas
Buy what now ?...
Just follow " Buy the rumours and sell the news" . Most likely it will be right.
Whose call is more powderful...?
