Innocent people without market experience are prone to take tips serious, though.
'I will not say they deserve to lose'...
But I just pity the beginners for being taken in by all the repeated glorified bullish impression of great earnings, great products, great presentations, etc...
Agree there is no necessity for it. We don't come here to "glorify" others misfortunes

If pple invest based on tips, analysts, forums, they deserved to lose.
Just like pple can still lost money in Bull market last year. Do your research and time your purchase/selling

I agree with you, Nokita.
Zhuge Liang, if Bestworld is not your cup of tea, why you need to monitor and come in and post such substandard remarks?
My guess is that you are interested, and trying to induce fear and collect it cheap.

ipunter: actually, the stock price has fallen along with the broad market. nothing exceptional there.

http://www.nextinsight.com.sg/component/option,com_fireboard/Itemid,67/func,view/id,152/catid,3/limit,6/limitstart,6/ on the track record of best world, and it is amazing that the profit growth has been kept up. a casual observer would conclude that the business is strong and growing. someone told me that the cashflow from this business is fantastic - not surprising either because best world collects cash from its distributors, so no problem with receivables/bad debt. this business has very little capex need too.
Maybe he is very disappointed with this stock after cutting a little bit of loss?... Just guessing...
Anyway, this counter is no more worth following.
I was actually rather impressed by all the public presentations and good news of the company,...
which must have caused countless forummers here to buy at very high high prices... Now I pity those many people who bought after seeing those really great presentations...
and then lost so much money...

Venture, I just read the latest issue of " The Edge" (August 25 - August 31 ) No: 333. There is an article "Best World hunts for good leaders to drive overseas growth" written by Angeline Cheong - includes some mention about the company's plan in China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam
