Memstar Technology has been awarded a RMB60 million ($12.3 million) contract to supply membrane products to a wastewater treatment plant being built by the Guangzhou municipal government. The plant, with a capacity of 100,000 cubic metres/day, is based on Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) technology and upon its completion in June 2010, will be the largest MBR plant in China. Memstar says its PVDF hollow fibre membrane products are specially designed for water and wastewater treatment applications. Its membrane products have been used in chemical and petrochemical industries which are known to generate wastewater that is difficult to treat. Among its clients are petrochemical giants like China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec), China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Ecopetrol S.A. The technology behind Memstar’s membrane manufacturing process is developed in its Singapore R&D centre, the company says. Memstar has established two cost effective manufacturing centres in China. With a production capacity of 5 million sq m of membrane per annum, “we believe we are one of Asia’s largest PVDF hollow fibre membrane manufacturers,” says Memstar. Memstar recently entered into a non-binding agreement to form an entity with Shenyang Water Group to invest in seven drinking water plants and four wastewater treatment plants with total treatment capacity of 520,000 cubic metres/day and 210,000 cubic metres/day respectively. The contract is expected to contribute RMB0.96 cents to the consolidated net tangible asset value per share and the earnings per share of the company for the financial year ending June 30, 2010. {jcomments} |

1000shares dividend should be $0.20 not $2.00, 100k shares = $20.00

The chart is very interesting...
Many still harbour a 'gap-covering mentality' of times past...
But .115 is proving to be a solid springboard for this 'Incedible Hulk'... hehehe...
