Owners sell 9% Genting S'pore for US$425m

The family that owns Malaysian gaming firm Genting sold about 9 per cent of shares in its Singapore unit to institutions on Wednesday, raising S$615 million (US$425 million), two sources with knowledge of the deal told Reuters.
A total of 853.8 million Genting Singapore shares were sold at S$0.72 a share, a discount of around 17 per cent from its last closing price. Shares of the firm dropped as much as 21 per cent in early trade, inviting a query from the Singapore Exchange about the sharp movement in its share price.
EDGE write placement share is 72-76 cents..am i right? jst buy from the market..y buy the placement share?

It will close the gap, but may take a while. Just look at how all the huge resistance are broken in fairly quick succession.....I'd say that investors are very bullish about this stocks and taking the chance to get in.
For those who got it at 0.9 something...don't despair. You're just missing out on some profit. You'll make money eventually.
For me....well, my average of 30 lots is 0.767. Actually, I've been selling and reselling this stock for the past two weeks. So I've already made some money off of it. But this time for longer term holding, I guess.
it's possible for it to close the gap. In the past few days, it was trading between 5cents to 9cents.

today market mood affected bythis casina ... otherwise already up up touch the sky liao...
Gap will be filled when you least expect. Traders will base on today's trading range to guage direction.
HG: 74.0 LW: 68.5, a range of 5.5 cents. Now at ard 72.5 cents.
Calculate RSI & Fibnnci : 72.7, OB Bullish.

Lim's holding should have been transacted at 72cents already.
Married deal of 861mil shares at 72cents.
Having been reading the postings by all the sifu here.
I definitely hope it will drop back to a reasonable price !
Beware after the sales of 9%......price will revert down back to 50cents........

i can't believe my eyes. i placed order at 0.875 and it was filled at 0.715....
short shoudl be belwo 73c else Lim family won't sell right?
At firstI thought something has gone wrong. But now it is all clear. Some divestment is quite natural. You divest, I invest is not uncommon.
Also got in when it dropped, bot at 72.5 cents. Will keep this until opening of the casino.

The big gap created between 86.5 cents and 74 cents is not easy to cover at present .
ok lar..this counter can hold. Just buy some more this morning @ 0.725.
