Short of capital to do something they need to do is the logical conclusion

 

RM$5/-.....?. 0.60ct goback to 100% - 200% profit very good liao in mid term cós alot of ppl's get stuck here will be happy to let go.

something fishy .... pushed all the way and suddenly 11mil shares sold down at after market trading.

 

Actually this is a good news for genting int. Even thought with this bad news genting int price doesn't effect much. What will happen to genting price if there's good news? surely up. Is there any big shocking bad news ahead for genting? Unlikely.How many year left for genting int to start rolling their dices? About 2 years left. Better enter earlier than later. So start accumulate now. Surely make money.

Genting Q1 net profit down 33% KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysian leisure firm Genting reported on Thursday a 33 per cent fall in first-quarter net profit due mainly to lower earnings from its UK casino business. Genting posted net profit of RM439.4 million (US$135.7 million) for the three months ended March, compared with RM656.70 million a year earlier. Genting owns Malaysia's sole casino on Genting Highlands resort near the capital. It is also involved in hotel operations, oil palm plantations, power generation and the cruise business. Reuters Estimates net profit consensus for Genting in 2008 is RM1.6 billion, or 44.39 sen per share, on revenue of RM8.86 billion. Genting shares fell 17.1 per cent in the first quarter, underperforming a drop of 13.7 per cent in the benchmark Kuala Lumpur Composite Index. -- REUTERS

Sori to dampen yr hopes and to wake u up from reality.The one U talking ab is the malaysian parenting co Genting Bhd.this one Genting Int'l Plc has 8 billion scripts after thr rights isuue,unlikey even with compounding effect can't cross $2,besides it is  not in a monopoly situation unlike its M'sian parent.

 

Give U an analogy,when SRC announced indoor swimming pool and bowling alley and other refurbishment the club's price shot up to ab $50k and after the rennovation below its original launch price <$15k,everybody expects it to shoot >$100k but...of course U can hope Genting Int'l will really hit $50 one day

(quoted from Lian He Zhao Bao last few weeks) do you know if you buy Genting IPO in malaysia, just 2 lots, (if not mistaken it is in year 1971)... and you  just keep it until today... you sell this 2 lots, you get back RM 2 millions... at that time i think 2 lots is about RM 400.. you can say at that time RM 400 was big la.. etc.. but again, 2 lots now become RM 2 millions, (bonus shares, dividends, stock splits, etc)... cannot imagine the powerful of long term holdings.. so guys, this is very encouraging.. if that can work 30 years back, it shall work for another 30 years.. so, i don't mind to put 2 lots price to test this again, so, anyway, 2 lots 0.57, which is about SGD 1,000, can it be SGD 2 millions after 30 years ?! heeeee..... i don't know~

 

Any price below the Right Issue price of 0.60 is good buy. See market trend to make you get richer if it goes lower. Cheers.

 

Hv bought 30 lots at $0.57cts, will throw it to interested buyers at $0.63cts since Casino got no dividends. $1,800 can buy alot of rice for the familly to eat for months.

 

I already bought 10 lots of this stock and put it in time capsule. I will only reopen it 20 years later. I strongly believe by that time GI price could be not less than $50.
