My SGX took a beating from the high to the closing was $1 difference.


Bought 20lots Kingsmen at 62 but sold 10 at 64cents and left 10 lots.
Bought adv SCT at 1.01 and this one is not strong enough to remain at $1. Too many people wants to clear the position and caused the recent consolidation breakout to fail and the market weakens in the closing bell.

 

Property and Hotel counters are hammered to the bottom. After rebuilding its based it appears to construction themselves up.
Already vested in Wingtai and might be looking at Hotel counter such as Orchard Parade or Amara.

Based on feedbacks Singapore rooms are now fully booked and many tourists unable to get good hotels in Orchard area and have to look for budget hotels.

 

took Aztech profit off the table although the uptrend is still strong.

Look at Kingsmen and adv SCT.
Will buy adv sct if it can stay above $1.

 

while others being laggard my Wingtai and Fibrchem are making good run today :)

 

anyone know what's makes Ultro so bullish?

 

I forgot to include Aztech in my portfolio.
I'm about losing patient with Aztech now as it remains at 33cents while the whole market is moving up so well.

Sigh..I was out of s'pore.Shocked by the fish which remisier mentioned but at the same time impressed deeply. Salute!!

 

Another stock I target to buy tomorrow is Courage Marine.
It's just beautifully painted overall in its TA.

One thing to let everyone know. I have no idea how strong and how far a stock will move.
But I can only gauge the rough estimation of the move based on historical charts. And the real movement depends mostly on market sentiment.

Fundamental is solid with good prospect
Technical:
- It has found the bottom at 88cents and of course I'm not a real bottom fisher so I won't buy at that price either.
- After hitting 88cents the price moved up strongly (see two white candles) but remained sideway. This is good because it needs to stay in sync with overall market before another push upward.
- It trades within the range for past 7 days and the price is crossing for the 1st time the 14 days MA. This gives another positive buy signal.
- So if tomorrow it breaks out from $1. You should just go and grab from the market.

oh shit... i check chinafish Q3 report, revenue up 142.9% , nett profit up 72%, can you tell us louder next time?

the FA sounds promising, but price keep declining, just like chinaoiltech, results fantastic, price keep dropping, now u-turn back is not a surprise for a good FA sounds company..

 

i like the way you spot on well on chinafish, i never realize this stock until i see your post.. have a look at the chart, indeed drop all the way to 1.41.. guess u got it at 1.5 level, by the way, today upswing is overall market upswing i believe.

so, whats your next golden egg?

I love fiberchem too, that's a good company, i know it too, heee..

 if you ask me what stock to buy maybe it's easier task.
A purchase of director doesn't immediately indicating a buy signal. Director has his own interest at heart and therefore would like to see his share price moving up.
As for us we're outsider and we do not know exactly what's going on in the company.  But we have advantage as we have so many hundreds of stocks to select.
Select only the best in term of fundamental and share price performance and you will likely has less problem in the future.
Sorry it wasn't a lecture but rather my trading strategy.


Okay, this is my analysis on ASA:

• The company is in correct industry which is related to construction. Everywhere is construction boom and it requires material such as ceramic tiles. So if it doesn't make money now, how can it make money when the economy is turning down?
• Go to the company overview: http://www.listedcompany.com/ir/asa/web/show.cgi?content=overview
  It took a few hundred words and almost half of the page before I get to know what the company is producing. They start to talk rubbish about  high quality product and design and left the reader confused with what products they're referring to. This pictures inefficiency in the company.
  
• as I'm not a good FA person you may need to analyze this company from FA point of view as its technical is 'avoid' right now.
• The total Equity is 98 million. The PPE(property plant and equipment) is about 80 million. Assumed it needs to write off half of old PPE than the remaining asset would be: Total Equity minus PPE/2
  98 - 40 = 58 million.
  The number of shares are 202.2million. So the company could be worth around: 58/202.2 = 28.5cents.

But as I said I'm not a FA person. Above value can be realised only if someone has the gut to takeover the company.


 

 

Hi remisier, do you mind helping me to check ASA? Had some at 0.19 but do not know what to do with it now. Company only managed to narrow loss a little, but NAV remains above $0.40. Recently had a substantial shareholder up his stake for 3 days in a row.
