LB has broken for the first time its 200MA...since Dec 2006 beginning of uptrend...it might be poised for a greater fall looking at GMMA, MACD Signal...MFI and also Stochastic....
indeed many counters are bound to dive below...however if anybody were to hold on to this counter or even to short this...the technical charts tell us a more credible story....example u might like to look at Seksun which is trading sideways even when during this period of downtrend
most stock nosedive today....not only this counter.

wow~! technically i just noticed Lian Beng closed at the support level today...accurately...so tt means when there's a gap down for LB or below $0.565...this counter will be in for a dive...moreover gonna hit below the $0.54 mark soon (it's 200MA level)...
I think all the bengs rather bet on EPL than stocks.....At least they know either Ronny or Ronaldo is going to score. But for STI, nobody knows exactly what happen next! ALL counters, be it good or bad, dragged down by regional sell off!

Buy on rumour, sell on news. There is 2 small news recently, i.e. (1)taking a 10% stake at a 100 odd mil project and (2) >200% surge in net profits. So, natural to see the big boyz taking their profits. It is not always comforting to see the fluctuations in the market. Well.. That is essentially, the market is made of! As the saying goes, Stock market is not for the 'faint' hearted. :)
There is lot of hope in the co. winning the IR project and yeah, the next cycle could come shortly after the present sell down stabilises, in a matter of few days. There is a possibility that the construction counters in general, will remain resilient to the market fluctuations during this year. Atleast, these are againt odds, as compared to say.. manufacturing or financial counters.
Regardless of what happens in the market place, as long as there is future visibility, market will still 'price' the good counters fairly well.. There are some classic examples for that.. Olam, Hyflux, Keppel T&T, Starhub...
With good order books, nice margins and booming construction for the next 2 years... Lian Beng and fellow sector has more to offer to the investors. We be the witness of what to come... Remember, during this time just last year, how many of us wanted to 'buy' property counters for 'long term'? Well.. rest is history!
