Though HPL not involved in the F1 bid, the hotels around the proposed circuit around Esplanade will benefit the most. Demand for the hotel rooms will be high and could push prices up to thousands(monaco:$4000/night) during the F1 race and qualifying.

Don't you guys wonder how HPL shares will react if F1 race is confirm in Singapore this coming week? Up or Down....there sure will be an effect somehow...its your guess yea!

I guess wat's goes up, nex would be down....guess it wont drop much (maybe $0.1-$0.5) before it head up again (if nothing major issue happen in the world)...monday see how and how DOW doing on Friday market.

but becareful, since everyone knows HPL is not involve in F1 bids, where got stupid idiots go and queue to buy at high price say, 5.00 or 4.90... it will ends up, all the shortist buying up at the end, ha ha... I better watch sidelines and see how's the public response for first few minutes first...  don't u think so?

I guess is all Speculation, following article from today BT.
Guess why they clarified on what shplayer posted.
If that the case, does that mean Monday can short this counter? Hmm..any comment, advise?


HPL jumps to all-time high on talk of sealing F1 deal

RAMPANT speculation that Ong Beng Seng, a major shareholder in Hotel Properties Limited (HPL), has sealed the deal which will see Singapore host a leg of the popular Formula One series pushed the company's shares up 38 cents to an all-time high of $5.20 a share yesterday.

that means...HPL price will be shooting down very soon isn't it?? As all along, the price is speculated up based on the highly focused F1 race being linked with HPL.

F1 results coming out tomorrow. OBS is expected to have secured the deal for them come to Singapore.
