Looking at the just updated chart of Ban Joo...

Looking at the geometry of the price rise from the floor since it's breakout suggests

that the stock may trade may sideways for the time being,

due  to mainly to profit-taking by those who have already made substantial amounts already.

Plus also, the contra players who have just entered at or near the peak. 

 

Generally, the thing to remember about stock play is:

iPunter: i tink the othesr strategy are different. they are lookin for quick profits. therefore they muz play stocks that are super hot so that within T+3 they can realize their gains/losses. as to how many ppl using this strategy actually made big monies i dunno. it is becuz they wanna speculate that they sometimes buy high and sell higher or sell low buy lower.

Note: i DO NOT CONDEMN contra or shortist. to me it is juz different playing strategy. no wrong or correct. at the end of the day as long as one is responsible for one's gains/losses is good enuff.

Players playing in open mkt usually will lose and esp playing on contra, "Soo Kia Lau Sai".

Yes, your style of play is superb... and profits can be reasonably "assured"...

provided one buys when the price is low, though...

But how would one hope to profit if, say for example, one has bought a stock at its price peak...

which usually is when everyone is singing praises for that stock's fundamentals? 

 

teeth53: after reading your playing it seems to get rich via shares trading isn't tat easy correct? i tink the only true winner is one who can hold and then let go at the appropriate moment isn't it?

Example I bought in Armada at 0.04 and then sell at 0.05 tinking of quick profits and if I have hold on based on the current share price I am sitting on quite good profits. In contrast when I hold on longer I bought in ActionAsia at 0.07 and sold off at 0.145

And since I always pay up in full all my shares, it seems going for the long term reap better rewards for me. And maybe that is why I am not a contra or shortist player.

My 1 cent worth of opinion.

 

Went in and out of Singtel-no longer holding. M1, Cenersave, still holding some..:))

Still holding on to lost making Casa, Digiland, Jasper for a long time.

Let go too early on SinGheeHuat at 0.48 cts, make some from YangZijiang, TT Int'l

Lost alot on Ouhua, make back thro..foreland IPO placement share, overall should be breaking even with some help from my Remisier

Can I assume with the flushing out of some contra players today, BB will block at 0.22 and play 0.225 and above for tomolo trading?

 

BanJoo closed on a stronger then expected mode wtih d help from those BBs.:)) From d Traded Summary. A big Mid deal and deal from Ask Volume indicated more ppl's is buying then selling. A good sign that Banjoo is on.
