on hindsight, words of wisdom from zhuge_liang. alas, i failed to monitor at the crucial period today (12pm to slightly after 2pm). wasn't prepared to exit at 2.36ish, hence held on. still vested :)

Singapore's CAO says no asset injection yet

SINGAPORE, June 14 (Reuters)

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/070614/3/497we.html

China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corp (CAO) said on Thursday that the company does not expect an imminent injection of assets. "No proposal has come to the board yet," CAO Chairman Lim Jit Poh told a media briefing. "But management and the two groups (BP and parent China National Aviation Fuel Holding Co) are talking." BP Plc and China National Aviation had previously said they were considering injecting assets into the company. CAO came close to collapse in 2004 when it was hit by trading losses of $550 million in Singapore's biggest trading scandal since the 1995 collapse of Barings Bank. Its former chief executive, Chen Jiulin, was sentenced by a Singapore court last March to more than four years' imprisonment for his role in CAO's near collapse. The company's creditors agreed to a bailout plan in June 2005 that saw oil giant BP Plc and Singapore state investment firm Temasek [TEM.UL] inject $130 million into the firm.

Rose so much already. I think time to take profit.

It said that the company does not expect an imminent injection of assets.

"No proposal has come to the board yet," Chairman Lim Jit Poh told a media briefing.

"But management and the 2 groups (BP and parent China National Aviation Fuel Holding Co) are talking."

BP Plc and China National Aviation had previously said they were considering injecting assets into the company.

CAO came close to collapse in '04 when it was hit by trading losses of $550 million in our biggest trading scandal since the 1995 collapse of Barings Bank.

The company's creditors agreed to a bailout plan in Jun '05 that saw oil giant BP Plc and Temasek taking stakes.

I think its too early to say that it will move up soon.

From the TA charts, Acc/Dist and Chaikin's trends are unclear

Last buy signal on 30th April, ended 15th May.

Currently counter seems to be in a consolidation mode.

1.  3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, and 30 day boll bands have started to close in.

2.  Smart money left this counter on 15th May, but have started to slowly flow in again on 18th May.

Technicals looking decent.  If you're still vested, monitor closely for any changes.

Hi,

The priciple business model is still oil procurement, the trading model has not started and not proven.  So I look at the past report, the 2006 first quater procurement is 922,000 MT. And the first three months procurement 2007 is 935,200MT.  Therefore I am not very convince the results for 2007 first quater will be that great.  Please correct me if I am wrong.
